The thing is Tob, if it was fletcher of old we would get double figures from him. He looks like a different player since his injury and in my opinion, there is something else going on.

I do but I believe we should have brought in a striker even in loan. The good thing is we are fighting back in games we would have lost at home last season. My fear is not being able to beat the newly promoted clubs away. I predicted the QPR loss and I fear the worst against Burnley! A team that has been in the Premier league for 8 years should not be saying that. We have so much potential yet we can't seem to crack it.

That has to change you can't have that mentality every season its time for sunderland to look at 12th place or above in the league and a more serious challenge in both cups.

We are still getting 40,000 crowds, we would need a extension if we became a top six team lol.

Finally got around to watch MOTD which had all the action from Saturday's games.

I reckon Swansea can get a top five position this year, I know it's early days but they are looking incredible. Although I believe Chelsea are probably going to win this year, they looked really off against Swansea in the first half and I reckon they've got some problems defensively, especially in contrast to their triple A midfield and attack. I mean how old is Terry now, he's in this thirties, right?

The thing about Chelsea, is from what I've seen of them so far this season is to get such refined play from their squad takes quite a long time. Time to set up the field, time to warm up the players, once it's all in place the are unstoppable but if you can tuck one or two in early and then pull back your squad and focus on breaking down their play I reckon they are beatable.

We managed to hold them back for a very long time and with a fitter squad I reckon we could have drew, because we clearly had the right idea of how to play against them, just keep attacking them, forcing Chelsea on the left foot to stop them dictating the game because as we learnt, once they take control we aren't getting control back. I reckon Swansea may have even won if they got a second goal in the first half.

It is something Chelsea could easily work on and probably will do when the season is really under way but I think it'd be worth exploiting now to try and steal some points away from Chelsea before they start sucking up all the points like a vortex and lock up this "flaw" in their style.

Man City played awfully against Arsenal, they were barely even putting up a fight and given a top side like Arsenal were giving it their all, that is a dangerous thing to do. Arsenal scored two good goals, good enough to deserve the win in my mind. Still they wasted some golden opportunities on a plate which you just can't do against a top club, even if they didn't seem to turn up, I imagine the game was pretty frustrating for Arsenal fans.

Liverpool and Newcastle all looked poor on Saturday. I can see a top five finish for Liverpool overall though so it shouldn't matter too much for them but I think Newcastle are going to struggle to get out of the bottom of the table if they continue to play how they've done so far this season.

What a terrible performance from us tonight against B.Dortmund.
The defending was poor,no protection from midfield and not one player performed tonight and if Dortmund took more of their chances it could have been 6-0.
