For the moment. Yes, the relationship seems good now, but I don't completely trust Sony. Wish there was language in the contract where Marvel could just buy them out and get Spidey home permanently. But for now, I'll take what I can get - the first Spider-Man movie I want to see in fifteen years.

Thing is, Sony won't give Spider-Man back permanently because then they won't get the money the MCU Spider-Man will inevitably get. At least Marvel have creative control.

‘Avengers: Infinity War – Parts 1 & 2’ Will Be Retitled

Joe and Anthony Russo aren’t married to the Infinity War title, or at least not to the Part 1 and Part 2 of that had been previously announced by Marvel. Speaking to Uproxx, the Russos clarified that it really isn’t a two-part story with a cliffhanger, which means what we’re really looking at here is Avengers 3 and Avengers 4 rather than Avengers 3 and Avengers 3.5. “The movies are two very different movies,” said Joe Russo.

“It is misleading,” added Anthony, which means that a title change is on the way.

“The intention is we will change it, we just haven’t come up with the titles yet. But, yes, we will change it. And, yes, that is a scoop: we will retitle them.”

Read this earlier and tbh, I think it's going to be interesting to see what they do change the titles to and how the actual movies pan out story wise based on the comment Russos made.

Agreed; I like the idea of having separate titles and the movies being a Part 1/Part 2 but also standing alone from one another.

I wasn't a big fan of the Part 1/Part 2 thing, so I'm glad they'll be changing the subtitle for at least one of them.

Even for movies like HP7-1/7-2 where the split one book into two films, I wish they would have come up with a new, original subtitle for one of the parts.
