Im calling it now

The thor/guardians scene is a child of two films

Well see hela (wether temporarily or permanently depending on the validity of infinity war rumors) defeated then the reveal that loki either was working with thanos all along or is pretending to to save himself leading to a fight which ends with Thor floating through space until that moment

"Who are you guys "

Credits roll

If hela is replacing lady death as rumored then the mid credits scene will reveal this is some fashion

Like first avenger and the first AVENGERS FILM before it

No post credits scene

Merely the first theatrical trailer for infinity war

Could you imagine?

(One of the first scenes of infinity war will be the guardians meeting thor from their own perspective which is what the lucky D23 bastards saw which is where will get the "mean faces " dialouge from starlord and maybe someone answers thors little question there)

I'm glad someone has shown excitement on here. No one else had a nerdgasm when that was revealed. It was as if they didn't know who they were

I try to avoid these big threads now. I go in and out with questions after the fact or when something really piques my interest like this. There will always be people that spend too much time criticizing and too much fan theorizing that it affects the viewing.

People love to complain about the change in character designs, but the members of the Black Order look like they were lifted straight from the comics. Proxima Midnight and Black Maw look fantastic. They dropped the ball on the Inhumans but the MCU really stepped up with Ragnaroc and this.

Probably also due to the fact that it was revealed a couple weeks (months?) back that they would be in it by set photos lessening the impact.

Well to be fair, the Black Order were also introduced fairly recently as minor characters. From what I've read, they had a big role in Infinity (best Marvel event comic in recent history) and appear in the new Thanos run. Fairly small pool of fans to draw from.

for the sake of the movie, I'd be down with that. Whoever it is.

am cool with this too - I mean I'd be pissed paying and scoring lucky to see stuff first and find out its already on the net before I got home.

give it a few weeks at least, maybe a month or so, then we should all get it.

depending how the movie goes - either they are squabbling to stop Thanos getting the gem's/stones in this one and the second one is either fighting him with a full guantlet or the aftermath of whatever mess he creates with all gems/stones

just my guess

All they showed was seconds worth of footage, for all we know he will have all 6 stones by the end of the movie and they have the final clash.
Which is the comic story line where they need the good/bad Adam Warlocks to kind duke it out? Either way, Thanos has a full guantlet in that one I believe so maybe the 4th Avengers will be more of an aftermath deal? Or could follow that storyline(Infinity War series I think - re-read it recently too)

As for which member(s) of the Avengers will be killed off, I have a feeling that
[Show spoiler]Peter Parker will be at fault for at least one character's death. The trailer description mentioned Spider-Man apologizing profusely. Pretty sure he ain't saying sorry to Thanos, but to the other Avengers for being the cause of someone's death. If that were true, it would also make sense story-wise for the Homecoming sequel to pick up "minutes after" the end of Avengers 4 and would focus on Peter's grievances for getting a person killed.

they only dropped the ball due to TV budget and Medua's hair is awful...otherwise I like what they did with Inhumans.

However, the Black Order do look straight out of the comics. More faithful copy.

Very excited to see them. Glad they look pretty much the same too. Hopefully they're not just henchmen though. They should be more than that.

The problem is that this movie is absolutely PACKED to the rafters with big name actors who will be all vying for a fair amount of screen time and then we've got all these new characters as enemies and I'm fairly certain the focus will be on Thanos rather than the Black Order because they're already pushed by the main cast.

It doesn't necessarily mean it's a bad thing IF they still make their screen time and interactions as interesting as possible in both visuals and what they get to do.

They also have 2 movies to flesh out this storyline, so I'm guessing some of the big cast will take the backseat for Infinity War. I'm also guessing we'll be seeing 2 1/2 hour movies, possibly closer to even 3 hours, at least on the initial cut.
