I'm definitely on board, with wanting the Fantastic Four back with Marvel. That would also include the rights to characters like Galactus and Dr. Doom. I never saw the 1994 film, but I think Tim Story's first one was okay. The second sucked though, and I avoided Trank's effort.

I was tempted to check out this new Secret Wars and the Infamous Iron Man series, just because of Dr. Doom, but I fear I may be lost due to how continuity heavy everything is anymore.

I pick and choose what I read but had no problems with the crossovers personally.

There was no reason for Civil War 2.

New stories are whats needed, not taking a popular arc and replacing the villain.

Fans should be demanding origin shit, not falling for replicas.

I liked the idea for CW2 but it shouldnt have been dressed up as a follow up or a second Civil War story. If it was its own thing, it would have worked better IMO.

FOX and MARVEL have already struck a deal? I remember reading last year at one of the unveiling of the future of films coming, one of the executives remarked they have something that's going to blow fan's minds. I've yet to see what that may be but consider:

* The Avengers 2 part films will end Phase 3

*The MCU after that won't be considered Phases

*MARVEL has said the MCU will be forever changed

*James Gunn will oversee the Galactic MCU

* Adam Warlock is coming

Imagine an end credits sequence at the end of Avengers 4 being ANYTHING referencing Fantastic Four, Doctor Doom, Silver Surfer, Galactus, a combination of these or all?!

Lastly, the announcement hasn't been made yet because they play their cards close to the vest. Announcing it prematurely will steal the thunder from everything that is currently on the board and is supposed to culminate with Avengers pt3 and 4.

It actually makes great business sense.

It's unfortunate that we have to resort to watching bootleg quality footage from the movie, until Marvel releases the teaser trailer online in the 4th quarter of 2017.

I honestly don't think Josh Brolin is the right pick for Thanos. Or they should at least make him sound a little more like a god.

Honestly, I think Josh Brolin will play a better Cable than Thanos. Mostly because Josh Brolin will be able to corporate his charisma into Cable, where as Thanos is just a CGI character.

Until he acquires the Gauntlet, Thanos is just another Eternal.

Thor, Starfox, Sersi, Mantis, Silver Surfer, Ronin, or any of these extraterrestrial beings are not real Gods.

Thanos doesn't sound like Dormmamu.

That's not what I really meant. What I was basically trying to say was that you can replace Josh Brolin as Thanos, and it would make no difference. Where as once Josh Brolin plays Cable, he is going to be seen that character to the general audience. Just like how when people think of Hugh Jackman, they think of Wolverine. Or, Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man.

I agree. That's what anyone would think they would do after bootleg quality footage leaked online. But nope, the Infinity War trailer isn't coming out until at least October or December. I've noticed that the teaser trailers for Marvel's May releases have had teaser trailers that come out online mostly in October or December.

But, remember that we have only heard a few sentences from Thanos as it is. And each of those sentences were spoken in a very casual situation for him. Once he "gets involved more directly" we should see some more intimidation and ferocity shine through. Thanos, thus far, hasn't had any need to push any envelopes in the "appear as a god" department.
