Depends what they are willing to come back for . We all know Iron man is too expensive but Cap and Thor I would say maybe .

We know Vision loses the stone so he might be MIA for awhile lol but I'm with you on that... Why kill anyone? Just at the end send them off to do research or something haha.
It really is all about money in the end, and the main guys who propped up Marvel likely won't be going anywhere except a hiatus. Marvels proven they can make $ and great movies many different ways from the odd ball Guardians, to R-Rated 2D only Deadpool, etc. But I'm still skeptical if in a few years its just Strange, Spidey, Captain Marvel, Guardians, Deadpool, and Ant-Man, that it'll be the same powerhouse as when we had rotating Iron-Man, Cap, Thor, Avenger flicks. But Marvel continues to surprise me so we'll see. |

I think people meant as a villain that was recurring for quite a few movies as a on and off frenemy. Personally think he's become one of the better villains they've had because of the many movies showing that complex relationship with Thor unfold over several movies. Hiddleston giving a great performance has also added to that. The others felt a little hollow in comparison as a result because they only got a single movie.

But Thor 3 proved they can still smash home run films, so its not inconceivable that a 4th Iron Man film (with enough money dumped on RDJ lawn), is a massive success. Thor 3 was my hanging by a thread where it coulda gone either way and it was awesome. |

2 more Spidey films 2 more Antman films 3 Captain Marvel films 1 more Guardians film 3 black Panther films 2 more Dr. Strange films And who knows what else they come up with. And if they make the Fox deal happen, we'll get X-Men, F4...etc All speculation of course. Last edited by Worship.my.wreck; 12-02-2017 at 04:28 PM. |

Yes and no, release-wise yes because Ant-Man and the Wasp will not have been released yet by the time it’s out, but no because Ant-Man and the Wasp will take place before Infinity War chronologically, so Wasp will have been established by the time Infinity War takes place.

I'm sure another strange is in a work that like Guardians originally lots of us thought it wouldn't transition to the big screen but that was a great film. Thats why I don't even think they need to kill off major characters just let the Universe of those upcoming films run its course and set something up for when most of that has wrapped to bring the OG guys back. I'm sure it would be at a fever pitch after 3-5+ years of not seeing Thor, IM, or CA... Kinda like this movie is smashing view records as its a culmination of the last 10 years lol. |

I'm wondering if the genre though will at some point reach total exhaustion. Not for me I can watch it all the time, but I'm wondering when the numbers aren't there to make it a viable investment. |

Here's a crazy idea: what if they killed off Banner... but not the Hulk? Thanos or his minions get in a lucky shot, kill Banner right as he's changing, maybe Scarlet Witch manages to throw a hex at him, splitting the two apart. Banner dies, Hulk lives.

The only way I can see them doing that is by having the X-Men, Fantastic 4...etc live in alternate universes than the current one with the Avengers. Then you can make a film where something happens and those alternate universes combine or they are able to travel to other universes and meet each other. And that leaves the door open for tons of new characters to interact with each other. Either way I don't see it happening that fast as Avengers 4 has already been filming. Stuff like this would take time and a few films to explain. |

Simple. The mutant population in the MCU is a lot more smaller than Fox's X-Men universe. Making it easier for Professor X to stay hidden. Not to mention, the MCU is full of superpower beings already. So no one is even going to tell who or what is a mutant. Just like how no one is phased by Spider-Man in the MCU. Because people are already use to superpowered beings being around.
