I am not sure how it would work in the movies. But... it was pretty cool in the comics.

Id rather they didn't do that. I don't want anything that's made the Marvel comics suck for the last few years anywhere near the MCU.

There's bringing in diverse characters, and then there's blatant changing things for the sake of diversity. If they start leaning towards the latter, they're going to lose a lot of fans.

As far as Hawkeye goes, I can see them killing his wife for a dramatic change (she could also leave him because he came out of retirement in Civil War and went to prison), but I doubt they kill his kids. That just feels too dark for the MCU movies

I get what you mean, and mostly agree with you. BUT... cuz I can't see Marvel ever giving a damn about Jane Foster since like ever. Cuz she sucks as a character. And it would make even less sense in the films cuz she has no depth to her. Jane Foster as Thor was a great story arc. It was really good. I mean, we had other character as Thor in the comics too.

While I wasn't keen on how Marvel seem to rush their changes as a whole for the market they were shooting for.... Jane Foster as Thor was great.
