What gives?!
If I'm correct, there are no longer 1.43:1 IMAX ratio used in films anymore. It's now 1:85:1 when filming with digital IMAX

The shot of T'Challa transforming into BP is so badass. The way the shots are made great.

What about 70mm IMAX like Dunkirk? The behind the scenes footage appeared to be 4:3 for that movie.

Wonder Woman 2 is shooting with IMAX film cameras. IMAX 70mm isn't dead yet (thankfully).

Disappointing. Thought the entire movie would be in the IMAX ratio. Black Panther was in it for an hour or so.

My write-up was basically a tongue bath. Can't you just be glad that I liked the movie a lot? I'm not an enemy of Marvel.

I was just curious what you thought about Winter Soldier and Civil war because both of those, like Infinity War, were directed by the Russo brothers. They are definitely Marvel's best directors.

First time I've walked out of a Marvel movie - and I wasn't the only one

My main issue with the film was I thought it downright boring. Next is there were too many characters. WAY too many. It was like watching 5 different movies - which is where my complaint about the film being dull comes in. Give me ONE movie that focuses on ONE character/villain and storyline and I'm good to go. IW was just too much.

Where is this spot and was it in 3D IMAX? I heard the 3D is worth going back a second time. I saw IMAX 2D first time around.

I saw it at the IMAX in Reading, MA. It's the only laser IMAX in NE. I saw the 2D showing.

Does the 3D have the IMAX aspect ratio? I was really excited to see an entire movie like that for the first time ever... there's even a big display outside the theater advertising the fact that it's the first movie ever filmed entirely with IMAX cameras. What a disappointment

It even says it here: https://www.imax.com/Avengers-screen

If your complaint is "too many characters", then clearly this movie isn't for you.

And you're positive you knew that you were walking into an Avengers movie that would be featuring like 30 different characters? Calling this movie "boring" is the last word I'd use to describe it, not sure where anyone would be able to call Infinity War a boring movie... thanks for the laugh though.

Haven't seen Infinity War yet, but for example I thought that Civil War was pretty boring (and a disappointing sequel to The Winter Soldier), so it's not impossible...

With that being said, I would/have never walked out of a movie, even if I don't really like it.

Even when I'm streaming something I usually make it to the end anyway. You watch it 'til the end and then you judge it.

Yeah I totally hear you! If only we could have instead more true and exciting masterpieces like Justice League!!!! That's what a truly exciting and engaging movie should be all about!!!

Civil War was Avengers 2.5 and was ok.

Winter Soldier was awesome. Black Panther was amazing. Infinity War is probably first one with tons of replay value for me.
