Yeah she's on the government side of the Avengers so there's no reason for her to be on the run. There's no reason for it to be about her age cause she's not that old.

Yeah, I have to wonder if people saw the same movie I did. She definitively chose "team cap" at the airport. She's being hunted as well.

They can be set before Infinity War took place like Captain Marvel is set in the 90s and introducing The Skrulls which are a MASSIVE thing for them to do and by going back in time a bit, they start laying groundwork for the sequel and how the heroes make a come back.

Also, some of it can be shown post Infinity War I think because I have a very strong suspicion that a LOT of this stuff with Thanos takes place off Earth with a few of the major earth based Avengers and cosmic character and his henchmen are on Earth for the most part.

Then maybe that's why it's possible for them to keep going in terms of the story or the solo movies will be all set between the events or slightly before filling us in on why some might not have joined the main fight.

Just to clarify, is there going to be a part 2 (as in a sequel rather than simply Avengers 4)? First there was, then there wasn't and now...there is?

4 is still a continuation of Infinity War, but they're more standalone than an actual Part 1-Part 2 dynamic now.

There is Infinity War and Infinity Gauntlet, Infinity war is with his 4 sideguys while he gathers the stones. Gauntlet is the actual war itself.

The Avengers 4 isn't Infinity Gauntlet. Kevin Feige confirmed that The Avengers 4 is it's own thing. That's why the Russos didn't film The Avenger: Infinity War and The Avengers 4 at the same time.

The New Avengers doesn't really appeal to be, to be honest. Mainly because the dynamic of the original team is what makes The Avengers to me, and Marvel can't use some of The New Avengers members on film. So it just sounds like they are scraping from the bottom of the barrel at this point. Also I prefer Spider-Man works alone, especially since he is still too young.

I am looking forward to what comes next, they are going to move forward and not reboot and recast.

Hopefully the events of this movie will lead to the Worldmind being activated.

It actually makes more sense for a young person to work in a team and have people helping him and as backup generally but The Avengers deal with Earth threatening issues and Peter already stated

so we know he doesn't feel ready to leave behind that part of his life just yet and those around him.

Still, I'm pretty sure New Avengers is a working title behind the scenes as they try to move forwards. Keeping "Avengers" with all the old guard gone seems to be maybe not the best move but audiences are getting so familiar with the MCU and lore, they could probably get away with it even if the core members get switched.

It's going to be amazing to look back and compare the journey of the MCU through all 4 phases.

I think the idea of the MCU without The Avengers in general is a more interesting take, if anything.
