Nah....they have the solo films to develop the individuals, and the team film to show them together.

Are u ready to eliminate the Justice League and Defenders too?
Or even stop the X-Men and just make solo films?

Well traditional Spider-Man was thrown out the door when Tony came to his house and asked him to join the Civil war, upgrade his costume, and rescue him twice in his solo film. On top of Peter appearing in the Infinity Wars.

The Avengers can still be a well written story without Cap Iron Man and Thor.

Hawkeye has lead an Avengers squad in the past.

I would have no issue with a team that has Captain Marvel, Black Panther, Falcon, Spider-man, Black Widow, and Scarlett Witch.

You still have Nova, Darkhawk, Rage, Captain Britain, and others to pull in.

DC and Fox don't do endless amount of set ups after set ups like Marvel does. Well, maybe DC does just a bit. But for the most part, they'll just jump right into a story they want to tell. Fox's X-Men movies feel mostly stand-alone from each other. That's how movies should be. Not some big TV show. Which is why The Defenders can get away with this, because it is a TV show. I would hate to see a Spider-Man movie being treated like some episode of The New Avengers. It worked for the original team, but you can't do that with every superhero.

It's about 9 months to release. So there's still time to edit. But with a movie this epic, I doubt it will be short anyway. Question is, can they make it entertaining?

Is
[Show spoiler] Capitan marvel
supposed to be in this movie? I heard that character was going to make an appearance in one of these movies.

I have not kept up with the MCU updates, so this may be common knowledge.

Thanks,

The Avengers like the Justice League is for every hero.
Back in the day , u would never see certain heroes ever join The Avengers.
During the Xmen vs Avengers i saw Daredevil, Spidey, Ben Grimm, Logan and Dr Strange become Avengers.
Dr Strange was always a Defender, Spiderman was an affiliate, Daredevil was a solo act, Ben was strickly FF, and Logan was X or Alpha Flight.
At this point the MCU can incorporate any Marvel hero into the mix after the IW.
The general public dont know about certain "clubs" that heroes are associated with. There are plenty of Marvel heroes to add to the mix that can get them past the "core/iconic" members.
People still drool over a non-Cyclops leader in the x-franchise. If thats givena pass ( with complaints) an Avengers film without Cap And Iron is conceivable.

Right, one of my favorite comics is Captain America Annual 8

Where Cap tells Wolverine, he will never be an Avenger.

No. You know very well me and other people complain about the heavy focus of Wolverine, Professor X, Magneto, and Mystique in the X-Men films. Besides X-Men: Dark Phoenix, I usually give Fox a pass because they play around with the concept of having no X-Men around a few times. Plus the X-Men film universe is just one single franchise. Where as the MCU is multiple superhero franchises all in one. Yet, people act as if the whole Marvel universe revolves around The Avengers. That's why I said it would be interesting to see the MCU without any Avengers teams. Because we would be able to see characters like Spider-Man and how he deals with things on his own without relying on The Avengers. Yeah, The Avengers didn't help much in Spider-Man: Homecoming, but you still got that sense that there are always there no matter what.

I really want this movie to be as good as it can be but I don't like some of the forced humor in the MCU. I just feel like too much joking around and one liners breaks the tension for what could be an epic story. I know the guardians have they're own tone and even iron man but hopefully they just find a balance so you actually feel the stakes of what the directors discuss. Just my two cents, very excited for the film regardless.

Don't think so. They've already added several new members, so "New Avengers" isn't really a spoiler.

I'm hoping for something like Avengers/X-men or Avengers/Fantastic Four: Galactus Attacks.

the Infinity War trailer had a much more serious tone unlike Thor: Ragnarok that was a laugh-a-minute trailer. This is a very serious movie. The Russo Bros know how to handle the movie in a mature way much like they did with The Winter Soldier and Civil War. Of course there will be humor thrown in to lighten up the dark and serious material when it's needed.

You can never go by the trailers with marvel, Avengers and iron man 3 seemed like they would be more serious than they turned out to be. I don't think humor is a problem but I just don't like how it's forced in some of the scenes within the movies. Even in spiderman it was a little much and while humor does work for that character the tone of most of it was very comedic overall and had some unnecessary dialogue as all they're movies do at some point.

Yes the Russos did a great job with winter soldier and civil war but those were captain America movies, not avengers. The guardians also are light in tone so I wonder what will happen when they meet characters like iron man, antman, and even doctor strange. I just wouldn't want them using quips the whole time just for a one time laugh. I'm anticipating black panther as its trailer looks a little more mature but I won't get my hopes up.

I feel like the mcu are pushing out good comic book movies, but not great movies as a whole. Not trying to offend anyone just my opinions. Still very excited for what is to come lol.

I missed the footage leak due to work, but I think it was a "controlled leak".

I mean, it didn't pop up right away, and it didn't show up until Justice League started trending with positive vibes.

Now Marvel has this "mythic footage" out there, keeping buzz alive...
