Yep. And since we have gods, sorcerers, witches, everything is possible, people will go back in time, die and live, and find some magic way to defeat Thanos.

First of all, no one is saying that The Avengers 4 isn't going to be about Thanos having all of the infinity stones. That doesn't mean it will be called Infinity Gauntlet, though. Second, since when did rumors and the cast members, who haven't even read The Avengers 4 script by the way, have more weight than the actual director himself? Looks like you're the one that's not getting it here.

so post Avengers 4, many movies would be prequels in the MCU?

that could work (and to be honest, I'd like to see some more heroes introduce Capt Marvel style)

but a few cast member have slipped about 'going back to film Gauntlet'....

They haven't released a title for Avengers 4 yet saying it would be spoilery. Captain Marvel debuts only two months before it and takes place in the 90's. Fury will be in it with both his eyes. The Skrulls will be a part of the story.

I'm telling you now, because of these keys and the conclusion of Hulk's story arc, the next Avengers film will be :

Avengers: Secret Invasion

I think Secret Invasion is certainly a possiblity here, especially with Captain Marvel coming between Avengers 3 and 4. I suspect that the Infinity Gauntlet is only part of the story, and that Thanos is the one in charge of The Skrulls and has had sleeper agents impersonating humans on Earth all along.

Really cause its directed by the Russo brothers not James Gunn. Filming also starts in 2 weeks so the scripts have been done for some time So yes the actors have read their parts.

Want to try again? What do you think filming just magically takes place because they want to start? Pre Production has been going on the entire time they were filming Infinity War. Now yes its possible its not called Gauntlet but the overall weight and everything Marvel has done leads many to believe yes it is the Gauntlet storyline.

If Thanos (with all of the infinity stones) and Skrulls appear in The Avengers 4, isn't that a bit too much for The Avengers to handle? Like, damn! They would need help from Fantastic Four and X-Men as well, and even that wouldn't be enough.

Well, Phoenix is stronger than Galactus himself.

Makes me wonder who will cause the most damage on film, Thanos or Phoenix?

Probably Thanos, even without the gauntlet he's one of the strongest. Also I doubt Fox will unleash the full power of the Phoenix, even if they can.

I don't know, I believe Phoenix is stronger than Thanos (without the gauntlet). Also X-Men: Dark Phoenix is going cosmic just like The Avengers: Infinity War. Which means they have to make Phoenix into a universal threat in order for the Shi'ar to go in after her.

Which is why CAPTAIN MARVEL will be a significant player as a new member of Avengers. According to Feige, a reimagining of her origins, somehow tied to the Quantum Realm introduced in Ant-Man, may hold the key. Maybe she's been there all this time and when the Gauntlet is completed she's feels it in the universe and will return to defend the Galaxy.

Well eventually we will come to look upon 2010-2020 as the Golden Age of CBMs. Hopefully they pick the right director for Dark Phoenix because the X-Men are still my favourite Marvel team by far and they deserve better than they've gotten to date.

Ah, I'm not convinced he's the right choice for such a massive undertaking so I will just hope for the best.
