I find it kinda odd how Steve basically implies that Tony is the reason why all of these superheroes are showing up. Which makes no sense because Ant-Man, Black Panther, Captain America, Captain Marvel, Thor, etc, all existed before Iron Man. It's like Marvel had to remind it's audience that the Iron Man movie launched this universe. It's a bit of a turn off, really.

Yeah, but it's not like the Russos went straight to The Avengers: Infinity War right after You, Me, and Dupree. They gradually had to get there.

I doubt most people know who Marvel's Captain Marvel is, neither of them are A-list characters though.

Yeah, the only thing people ever talk about Marvel's Captain Marvel is that she is the source to Rogue's powers. Which is why you never see Rogue fly or use her super strength in the films. Because there is no Captain Marvel around for Rogue to absorb. I predict Gladiator will take on Captain Marvel's role in X-Men: Dark Phoenix.

They haven't released a title for Avengers 4 yet saying it would be spoilery. Captain Marvel debuts only two months before it and takes place in the 90's. Fury will be in it with both his eyes. The Skrulls will be a part of the story.

Want to try again? What do you think filming just magically takes place because they want to start? Pre Production has been going on the entire time they were filming Infinity War. Now yes its possible its not called Gauntlet but the overall weight and everything Marvel has done leads many to believe yes it is the Gauntlet storyline.

Okay, lets try this again. Since you guys are clearly can't read. I know that James Gunn isn't directing this. Still doesn't change the fact that he's one of the executive producers and the one overseeing certain aspects of the MCU. So why should I take Zoe Saldana's word over James Gunn again?

Also when I said the actors didn't read the script, I meant Marvel didn't allowed them to read it. Never said it was because the script wasn't finished yet.

Oh, and once again, I NEVER said The Avengers 4 isn't going to be loosely based on the Infinity Gauntlet storyline. All I'm saying is that it might have a different title. You guys really need to learn how to read.

Yup...Carol went from Ms. Marvel to Binary to Captain Marvel recently.

The name Captain Marvel was available, and by the time Marvel Comics was really taking off in the mid-1960s, it was in the company’s interest to snatch up any name with “Marvel” in it. So they trademarked it. Marvel didn’t actually publish a Captain Marvel comic, however, until DC made some noise about bringing back the Fawcett character, which they’d licensed. DC just couldn’t call the book Captain Marvel or advertise the name, hence the Shazam! title.

She floundered after that, and then Binary was cool for a short minute and they send her away w/ The Starjammers. Loses those Binary powers.

I wonder if her film gets marketed like Wonder Woman with a female empowerment theme?

She originates from the 70's Feminism movement and gradually lost that "badge" over the years. And now I think she has a female writer w/ overt-feminist stylings if im not mistaken.

Or would going that route make her look like a WW clone and not her own heroine.

I think they can play up her history. Yet a lot of things are going to change this fall with Legacy. I think the movie Captain Marvel will be more like the character before they started down the path to Civil War 2.
