I used to think so. I liked how Civil War seemed to have actual consequences unlike most MCU entries, but Spider-Man: Homecoming pretty much undercut all of that. Tony went from being a broken man to joking around all the time and even
[Show spoiler]reuniting with Pepper

I just think other characters had it much worse than Tony Stark. Like Loki murdering his own father and losing his mother, or Spider-Man losing both of his parents and Uncle Ben (Peter's fault) while growing up poor. These characters chose the path they went with because of the parent figures in their lives. But with Tony Stark, it just feels like he would still be the same person that he is regardless of whether his parents were murdered or not.

I'm surprised Disney/Marvel hasn't taken down the Infinity War trailer for it's still relatively accessible on the internet.

The murder wasnt the impact.
It was Steve breaking Tonys trust.
Which leads to Steve abandoning the Captain America Mantle and half the Avengers leaving.

Is it me, or does Josh Brolin look more intimidating as Cable than Thanos?

That Cable looks great but the Infinity Gauntlet is more powerful than The Punisher.

There's a difference between an actors physical appearance and an actors voice work.

So you can't really compare both.

Steve didn't break Tony's trust really. He knew Hydra killed his parents and didn't tell him because he felt he was sparing him emotional hurt or however that ending monologue thingamajig goes. Bucky being responsible wasn't necessarily a surprise but Steve didn't know it was him until that moment.

Steve didn't quite give up the "Captain America" mantle but dropped the Shield because Tony goes it was his father who built it and he doesn't deserve it. The ending also was a bit negated of impact because Tony clearly is accepting of the olive branch Steve sent with the burner phone to contact him and they move on as two groups.

Tony will have Spiderman and others show up on his side I'm sure as new members that we've not quite seen yet.

Steve admits that he knew, whether it was file Black Widow gave him or Zola showed him the clues. Tony asks if he knew.
Its still a substantial moment. You can spin it however to your interpretation, but Bucky got his arm blown off and the rest of Caps team are in hiding.

We see in the Infinity trailers hes not Captain America anymore.

Isn't that exactly what you're doing?

Also, officially we haven't seen the trailer at this point to determine all the small moments we see in quick cuts and properly full screaming fan free dialogue but IMDB etc. list him as "The Captain" I think which in terms of the movie is a more trivial matter. He barely got called "Captain America" by the main cast or during the movies he's been in. It's usually "Cap" or "Captain".

I'd still say that whilst they're split into two groups. There's less impact from Bucky having killed Tony's parents because of that scene at the end with the phone.

He was called CA plenty of times in First Avenger.
During Winter Soldier, Pierce, Fury and Falcon referred to him as CA.
Civil War...Ant Man was delighted to work w CA...which he states.
Zemo used the Stark murders to split the team.

Its substantial...out of all the MCU villains. There was true fallout.

I agree. The storytelling is great if you're following the MCU arc. If you're following certain films some things are left out. The thing I'm excited for is after all these events we are most likely to get Cap' s famous battle cry:

Avengers Assemble!

I get chills thinking of it. It should mirror the first film, when they gathered in that circle during the battle against the Chitauri!
