I agree with this. He could EASILY be made to work within an MCU film. However, it would have to just be 2, MAYBE 3, instances as described above. Deadpool would have to just accept it and ignore it for the rest of the film. Otherwise, it would draw the audience out of the film TOO much. Or, maybe just a sigh or shaking of the head for the 2nd and 3rd occurrences.

Deadpool doesn't even like constantly swearing in the comics. He swears just about as much as The Avengers do, so I don't why he has to swear in the MCU. Now before anyone around here fails to read carefully and tells me this ain't the comics, let me just say that Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool is 99.9% faithful to the character. Only thing is there's certain aspects about him that are exaggerated, which creates a lot of misconceptions about the character. I kinda blame the comics for this, though. Since Deadpool is very inconsistently written in the comics over the years.

I'm more of a Less is more type of guy myself.

The first time I watched it was gold but every subsequent time I've watched Deadpool the excessive swearing becomes less funnier and more annoying in the same way I roll my eyes when MCU films keep inserting cringe jokes.

I do like Reynolds' charisma and flamboyance he's done with DP I just feel it can be even better if he picks and chooses more effective times to use the F word than what seemingly feels like every other sentence.

agree - pulling faces after the first few times would be enough to show his awareness but not enough to pull attention away

99.9%....he has no voices in his head so I'd have to argue a smaller percentage. Plus depending what version you compare Reynolds too, may be smaller still due to no teleportaion etc.
I'd agree he was faithful albeit a tamer version that can be read. Reynods Deadpool isnt quite as unhinged. But the feel of the character is agreeabley faithful.

But you know what I mean - he needs to be censored. He says some things that are not appropriate even if its not swearing.
