I've seen all of them. I've never had a problem with any of the villains except Ultron. Even then, I don't hate Ultron, I was just disappointed with what we got. In the trailers, the movie and Ultron had a very dark and hopeless vibe to it. When I saw the movie, as soon as Ultron started cracking jokes, I knew he was going to be a let down.

Again, all of the other villains that crack jokes, I don't have a problem with, because they weren't marketed as something completely different in the trailers.

I just wish there was more of a balance between cracking jokes and actual character development. If movie making was a pendulum and serious films were on the right and comedies on the left, the MCU pendulum would be far from center.

But yes I do agree Ultron was badass in the trailer (only).

Actually, Ultron wasn't the most disappointing villain. "The Mandarin" twist in Iron Man 3 was. We were getting such a cool and badass villain and then it ended up being an actor the whole time. Not just an actor, but a completely ridiculous and imbecile actor. The first half of IM3 is great, but the second half sucks. Because of that, it's on the bottom of my favorite MCU films list.

The constantly exploding armour and the whiny kid didn't help either.

I thought they were shooting Alexa 65 IMAX (1.9:1) flat for the most of the film? IMDB is a bit shaky but going by the screencap leaks it seems to be in 2.39:1.

I'm assuming that they maybe going for a Nolan style AR changes towards the big sequences 1.9:1 and scope for other stuff. Just remember IMDB is not always reliable and they may have changed the specs based on the leak or whatnot.

I guess the leaks confirmed that the Russos/Opalach are going the Nolan route and combining Anamorphic 2.39:1 footage with IMAX 1.9:1 sequences. I'm really intrigued they're using those old school APO Panatar lens that were used on Rogue One because Grieg Fraser suggested they were not in good condition or sharp enough when they were testing them for Rogue One. But they certainly performed well on RO, considering the medium format you are already limited in lens selection especially Anamorphic 65mm your gonna probably find yourself looking to vintage glass.

I can't tell from the D23/Comic Con Footage, but anyone can confirm that was that presented in 1.9:1 IMAX format?

Next we’ll be getting People to demand studios to release the films immediately, instead of the intended release date. Lol

Yeah, but I’ve yet to see anyone make any threats about it. Like releasing the film themselves.

The D23 footage was presented in Anamorphic.

Many reports saying it's entirely shot with the Alexa 65 IMAX camera. I'm guessing standard theaters will be showing it cropped to 2.39:1 AR and exclusively shown in the 1.9:1 aspect in IMAX theaters only.

I was under the impression that the entire movie would be shot in IMAX. So much for making history, I guess. I thought that since they're using digital IMAX cameras that they wouldn't be hindered by the drawbacks of traditional IMAX cameras, which shoot on film, such as their heavy weight, their loudness (which requires dialogue to be redubbed in post), and their limited recording time.

With tha volume of a-list actors this has, they weren't able to get everyone scheduled together so I wouldn't be surprised if most were on different stages and the clips combined into one.

They did this for the Airport Fight in Civil War.

Yeah, Sometime within that week of Monday December 4th is when I expect the teaser trailer to be released online. But, I can't imagine that they'd wait any later then the week before Star Wars: The Last Jedi is released to theaters to release the teaser trailer online.

Hmm. I still think they'll release it during the Last Jedi showings. Don't care if I'm wrong. But just another reason for more people to spend money on The Last Jedi is to see an extended trailer for Infinity War.
