Let it just happen, and judge afterwards. Its a fuskin trailer that weve already seen.

Its just HATE camoflauged.
Pretty much. Saying that the movies are forgotten soon after being released is just him projecting his feelings on the overall movie going audience.

That trailer gave me just enough to get excited but I'm going to do my best to avoid the second trailer.

This looks amazing. I have nothing else to say except that I hope it’s at least 150 minutes.

About fricken time Marvel.
Whether you agree or not Winter Soldier and Civil War definitely had substance. No surprise considering the same main two writers for those films also wrote Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers 4.

Even a number of the other films have had substance on some level.

However, just as Marvel's Avengers, Avengers: Age of Ultron, and Captain America: Civil War, as well as every other film in the MCU, have come and gone, vanishing from the consciousness of pop culture within mere months after their theatrical releases due to their lack of relevance to contemporary issues and their overall lack of depth, so will Avengers: Infinity War. Ask yourself, ten years into this franchise, how many films were at the forefront of the consciousness of society? How many stayed that way?
I'd argue that the first Avengers flick is still relevant and hasn't been forgotten by the moviegoing public.

I didn't care for either Justice League or Ragnarok. Although the latter is a far better film simply by default.

Civil War is mine but Winter Soldier is an very close second. They might flip when I finally do my rewatch of the entire MCU.

I loved the trailer but agree with Petra that they should have hid that scene. Apart from that, everything else was on point and gave me chills. It hopefully lives up to expectations and actually has some ramifications for characters from the main roster to stay dead if they do die.

The biggest thing I personally felt was that the CGI even at this stage is quite polished but could use even more refinement to peak and I'm sure they're aware of that and still polishing this gen to shine come May. Black Panther looks awesome and this being a few months later will blow minds.

I'm just going to ignore this as the studio war annoys me to no end. Hope Gunn is up to the task but to me he's handled the Guardians perfectly so far. As long as they gave him enough run time and leeway, he should be more than up to the task.

What film does these days? There's loads of amazing movies that don't get talked about these days outside of this forum. I think the MCU will be long remembered after it's done in the same way has the Harry Potter series or the Bond series. I haven't seen any of the Phase 1 or 2 movies since i bought the Blu-rays ages ago but i remember most of them very well

I see a lot of the angry hateful people who posted in Thor Ragnarok & The Justice League are posting in here now.

I guess in January I will see them jump between the Black Panther thread and this one.

just don't know why so many people are so angry and down right hateful over movies about comic book characters.

It's *almost* like ripping on things makes them happier than trying to enjoy things in life. I do know if I don't like something I try not to post in threads about it. I don't gain joy from crapping on other people's parades though, at least I don't think I do. Oh well, this film is going to be a blast, can't wait to see it with my niece and nephew.

can't wait to read the answer. I'm guessing it'll be a movie they liked from a franchise they preferred, therefore it's in the public consciousness.
