Blu-ray Baron

Because of their divisiveness. That's why those two films are still discussed to death almost everywhere since their respective releases. And that's not a bad thing. They are more relevant amongst the general "That movie was fun and awesome!" in regard to the majority of Marvel films. There's more passion in why someone didn't like or loved MoS or BvS.

That post of mine doesn't contradict the post that I made in this thread, because I admit that I'm looking forward to Infinity War in the post that I made in this thread. So, what's the issue? My point is that these movies are entertaining but lack depth; conversations about them boil down to how cool it is too see the characters interact and how cool the action sequences are. However, in regard to MoS and BvS, conversations boil down to the moral implications of Batman's and Superman's actions (e.g. Superman not moving the fight with Zod to an unpopulated area, snapping Zod's neck, being affected by people's fear and hatred of him and subsequently being depressed and reluctant to be a hero, whether or not Batman is guilty of murder or manslaughter, whether or not it is realistic and practical to never resort to killing, etc). Zack Snyder's entries in the DCFU (excluding JL since it was heavily reedited by Whedon) have much more depth to them than every movie in the MCU; quite frankly, they are better movies overall.

I'm talking about film as an art. I'm not Disney or any other studio, so how much money a movie earns doesn't affect me and certainly doesn't affect how much quality I perceive it to have. As a moviegoer, I demand more than forgettable quips and spectacle; I demand something to think and talk about.
