I actually think it was a good question that could be posed for all superhero movies. I think we're in a time of saturation -- the more they make, the more critical most people are going to be of them. We hardcore fans might follow them all and have our favorites, but unless we start spacing them out and making each one special, I fear somewhere down the line, we're going to look back and realize as far as films go, there weren't as many gems as we originally thought. Of course, not every one is expected to be groundbreaking, it's all just entertainment, but when you have so many of them coming out within a short span of time, they will without a doubt be subject to harsher criticism. Right now we're all riding high on them, so yes, let's keep them coming, but if you don't think the superhero movie genre will bust at some point, you're just being delusional. Ask anyone that grew up in the age of musicals, westerns, and classic monster movies. Time moves on and all good things will come to an end. And of all the movies from those genres of that period that matter to general audiences today, there are really only a handful worth mattering. It's the quality of a film that will stand the test of time, not the quantity.

every other film in the MCU, have come and gone, vanishing from the consciousness of pop culture within mere months after their theatrical releases due to their lack of relevance to contemporary issues and their overall lack of depth, so will Avengers: Infinity War

It's about track records, and that of the MCU thus far has been characterized by formulaic stories that lack depth and are subsequently forgettable. Hence, since Infinity War is yet another entry in this franchise, there's no reason to believe that it will be any different. Say what you will about MoS and BvS, but they are far from formulaic and far from forgettable; they are utterly unconventional and raise some serious, profound questions about a hypothetical world much like the real one in which superheroes exist. That's what makes them special and that's why they're still spoken about to this day.

Though I agree with you to a degree with MoS and BvS, I think what makes them most spoken about and will continue to make them memorable will be how controversial and divisive they are among fans.
