Looking forward to this immensely. It's early days, so I hope they improve Thanos's CGI. I don't understand why they wouldn't use prosthetics? Hellboy looked amazing and he was over 10 years back. If you're making him look like Brolin, use real Brolin with makeup.

You just got to love exaggerations on the internet. "Laughably bad" is ridiculous. The textures alone with his skin are great. That shot when he comes out of the portal and shifts his eyes around, either they were able to use Brolin's eyes despite the mo-cap work or they surpassed the uncanny valley. Not to mention as usual, CGI almost always looks better in the finished film.

I actually liked how Thanos looked in all the post credit scenes more than I do for this reveal. I thought he looked a lot more like his comic book look previously whereas now he just looks much more like Brolin. There's still time left to tweak and I'm sure he'll bring the character to life rather well but I'm not liking the current look (yet).

However, Cap in the black suit and beard? **** YEAH!!

I loved seeing purple Thanos, he looks more alien. However maybe he hasn’t been in the sun a lot

I'm probably a few million of them. In all seriousness I think I've viewed it about 150 times in the last 24 hours. I've had it on repeat for most of the last day.

Also, one website observed that Infinity Way did indeed 'break the internet' as YouTube's view counter was stuck at 467, 331 for some time after release.

I agree with you. After how simply amazing the first GotG was I was expecting soo much more out of it. I liked Mantis and Ego and the soundtrack was alright but everything else was disappointing.

The forced humor is what really took a lot of my enjoyment out of the movie. Taserface was not funny and I'd be shocked if anyone actually thought it was funny either.

Speaking of bad humor... the Beyonce jokes in Doctor Strange still disgust me to this day, completely unfunny and out of place. I cringe just thinking about it.
