well said! I love parts of IM 3 but that "twist" was freaking aweful. The "kid" was annoying but it worked to an extent. I also feel they wasted the Extremis storyline as well.

If it featured the real Mandarin, and minus the kid, would you have found a liking to it?

nah, HOmecoming was weak, and GOTG 2 was mediocre, but IM3 is a whole nother level of "wtf were they thinking?

not saying that Homecoming was some bastion of greatness though. I thought they botched it pretty badly

I don't know anything about how the Mandarin is supposed to be from the comics but I know I sure didn't like him in the movie. The kid I could deal with, I didn't find him annoying like a lot of people did.

Speaking of which, is it true Nick Fury isn't going to be in Infinity War? Cause that would really suck. He needs to be in this or at least Avengers 4

Bringing in the real Mandarin would have brought a whole new different dynamic to the film, so it's hard to tell. But I'm sure it would have been better than having a very generic cliche villain like Killain, though.
