Most definitely. Her role in Guardians 2 did set up a lot of where her story will go with Infinity War. After all, Nebula wants her revenge too.

Have you noticed that (almost) all Marvel movies "fall apart" at the final fight sequence/last third of the movie? They are still pretty much good, but the last third kinda "falls apart", it's not as epic and well-filmed as it should be.

EXCEPT:

1- Avengers 1 - the best superhero team ever filmed.
2- Iron Man 2
3- Civil War
4- Winter Soldier
5- Doctor Strange
6- Guardians 1

That's my opinion.

Well that’s not really all, or even almost all, more most. Almost would have been one or two, max.

I could agree with you on that. There's not too many memorable climaxes to these movies. They're all forgettable to me.

I'm hoping the Guardians beat him. Maybe Rocket can rig up some kind of cannon using the Time Gem, de-age him back to baby Thanos... and then Drax squishes him.

Shit....knowing Marvel Studios, that's probably what's gonna happen.

I also suggested Scott use one of his rings to shrink Thanos

This will only interest the nerdiest amongst you but I was surprised to see that they shot the movie in anamorphic, I spotted the shallow depth of field and elliptical bokeh straight away in the trailer. I mean the Russos shot anamorphic on Winter Soldier and Civil War but that was on regular Alexa, with this being an Alexa 65 joint I was expecting a flat capture especially with all the IMAX embiggening that will likely be going on.

You can shoot anamorphic on large format of course, Rogue One used the Ultra Panavision 70 lenses that were resurrected to shoot Hateful Eight on, I just didn't expect it on Infinity Wars. And a quick check of the specs on IMDB - for what they're worth at this stage - also confirms the usage of UP70 glass. Verr naice.

Having never read comics as a kid, but being super excited for Infinity War, I came across this nice ass box set that's getting released next year and I had to pre-order it. Its basically all the infinity comics in hardback books. Its very pricey, but it looks sick as hell. And it releases in March, so it'll get here in time for Avengers Infinity War.

That's nice, but how does it compare to the Infinity Gauntlet Omnibus? Are they the same or different collections?

That has to be some of the worst writing I've ever seen for a comic, I still can't believe it made it to print.

Some of the writers hate certain characters and do whatever they can to make them look silly. Ennis hated wolveeine and had punisher run him over with a steam roller.
