On another note I have a feeling the MCU is going to suffer from superhero fatigue pretty badly once RDJ, Evans, and Hemsworth move on.

Yeah just like Black Panther and both GOTG movies suffered amirite.

The more that people mention superhero fatigue, the more money comic book movies make.

Fine. Guardians of the Galaxy 5+ maybe. Black Panther 1, not as much.

Nah. All I see is a fuller grown out mustache with a little extension on the edges. Not that big of deal...

I was expecting the same thing but after what a stellar year for fresh MCU movies we had in 2017 and now 2018 I don't feel that way anymore.

Initially I was putting Thor Ragnarok and Black Panther into the "fresh and new feeling" category but even Homecoming and GotG 2 felt unique in their own little ways. I can't wait for Captain Marvel either, I think Brie Larson is gonna kill it.

Definitely. I'm excited to see what new and exciting franchises Marvel has to offer post-Infinity War.

It's not superhero fatigue as we'll no longer see the endless sequels of Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, and Hulk. Instead, it's the beginning of a 'clean-slate' so to speak. That alone should keep audiences interested coming back to theaters.

Good job, furball.

I want to see it all cross-over and I think it will after Avengers 4 while they scramble to figure out what to do with Avengers post-Thanos.

I'm hyped for X-Men's introduction into the MCU, but cautious as it's still too early for another reboot so soon after FOX's X-Men Universe.

Then again, Batman V. Superman came out four years after The Dark Knight Rises; which was still relatively fresh in average moviegoers minds.

Fantastic Four though, is gonna be a tough sell. Especially when it's had two failed franchises and both of them left a bad taste in audiences mouths. If it's marketed in the combination of Spider-Man: Homecoming and The Avengers, it'll be a box office hit.

I don't want the actual team, the Annihilators and such would be good though.

I'm not ready for X-Men joining the MCU just yet either. Still want Fox to do an Alpha Flight movie, since they are pretty good with their Canadian superheroes. A lot of these X-Men related films wouldn't even be possible if it was still back with Marvel, which worries me.

Hoping for another marathon leading up to Infinity War. Anyone heard anything yet? I'd assume they'll do at least the first two Avengers.

If anyone's interested in reading the comics that most likely inspired this film as well as what made Thanos so popular, I posted my reading guide in the book forum:

2.5 hours?! Surprised Marvel allowed that. Especially since there's a second part.

Kevin Feige said that The Avengers 4 is it's own thing.

I'm sure ten of those are credits.

To an extent, but Thanos is still in Avengers 4

I do agree that Kevin Feige uses the word "different" very loosely and kinda annoys me sometimes. But it will still be "different" by MCU's standards.
