The more that people mention superhero fatigue, the more money comic book movies make.

Initially I was putting Thor Ragnarok and Black Panther into the "fresh and new feeling" category but even Homecoming and GotG 2 felt unique in their own little ways. I can't wait for Captain Marvel either, I think Brie Larson is gonna kill it. |

Definitely. I'm excited to see what new and exciting franchises Marvel has to offer post-Infinity War.
It's not superhero fatigue as we'll no longer see the endless sequels of Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, and Hulk. Instead, it's the beginning of a 'clean-slate' so to speak. That alone should keep audiences interested coming back to theaters. |

I'm hyped for X-Men's introduction into the MCU, but cautious as it's still too early for another reboot so soon after FOX's X-Men Universe.
Then again, Batman V. Superman came out four years after The Dark Knight Rises; which was still relatively fresh in average moviegoers minds. Fantastic Four though, is gonna be a tough sell. Especially when it's had two failed franchises and both of them left a bad taste in audiences mouths. If it's marketed in the combination of Spider-Man: Homecoming and The Avengers, it'll be a box office hit. |

I'm not ready for X-Men joining the MCU just yet either. Still want Fox to do an Alpha Flight movie, since they are pretty good with their Canadian superheroes. A lot of these X-Men related films wouldn't even be possible if it was still back with Marvel, which worries me.

If anyone's interested in reading the comics that most likely inspired this film as well as what made Thanos so popular, I posted my reading guide in the book forum:
