So, is
[Show spoiler]Thor's new weapon special? Is it a new Mjolnir? Did Black Panther make him a Vibranium one? Or is it just a plain axe
?

Not Mjolnir. Stormbreaker.

Not the biggest Thor historian but I believe his
[Show spoiler] weapon is called Jarnbjorn and according to this wiki it's not just for chopping wood.

http://marvel.wikia.com/wiki/Jarnbjorn

Quote:
Forged by Dwarves, Jarnbjorn is naturally sharper than almost any Earthly weapon, and can cut virtually anything. In addition, Jarnbjorn has a charm placed on it that makes it indestructible, and it can be used to defend against any attack, even bursts of energy like Apocalypse's optic beam. Thanks to Thor's own enchantment, Jarnbjorn can pierce the armor of Celestials or created using Celestial technology.

Or it could be what Darkstream suggested.

*edit*

Actually the more I look at it it's probably most definitely what Darkstream said.

Yeah, if you're not familiar with the theatre you're going to its probably best to buy thwthe tickets in advance.

My local Regal theatre always still has tickets available right up until the movie starts so I never have to worry about a film selling out because it never happens. But you never know with other theatres.

I don't miss the days of having to go 30-40 minutes early to get a good seat.

Now I just like picking out my seat in advance. I always pick seats that has the least amount of possible patrons around me. Which is why I don't think moviepass is for me.

I reserve my tickets as well, but still get to the theater early. I just have a fear that someone will be sitting in my seat if I show up late and there'll be a big confrontation with me telling him I reserved this seat and the person refusing to move. I'd rather avoid that, so I show up early.

Kinda weird how some of the Infinity War merchandise/advertising is keeping Thor with the eyepatch and some is removing it.

On the other hand, that was all you had to do, and you usually had your pick of the seats. In the new system there's often a lot of seats gone by the time I get to it. But not having to show up early is nice.

I don't worry about it too much -- the local theater is in a shopping center with security guards and all that. I figure if someone really refuses to move the staff will deal with them, and if they still refuse to move I figure the staff will call security or the cops or something. I've had people sitting in my seat at least twice under the reserved seating system, but when I said something they just got up and moved without any argument.

The recent pops. They could have been approved before the eye patch.

I think any advertising mock-ups sent out before Ragnarok had been out for a bit were done as alternate versions without the eyepatch so a not to spoil anything (just like they did with the trailer), but the final versions you actually see in stores will have the eyepatch, and some of those final versions are not being revealed and released

30-40 minutes? Maybe during the day on Sunday, and even that would be late for a big movie like this opening weekend. For like the very first premiere showing of a huge movie like this if I wanted a good seat before reserved seating I would need to be there like 2 hours early (and even then there would be people in front of me).

I don't miss those days man but you are right, it was definitely like an hour or more on opening weekend.
