I hope they do. Rogue was always cooler as a flying super-strong badass (that could steal powers) than just a sheepish girl who could take powers.

Can't blame Fox. They don't have the film rights to Captain Marvel. However, Fox could use Gladiator instead if they wanted to.

The X-Men suck, I'd rather have them in a separate universe than combine forces with the existing MCU characters. The X-Men powers are more alien-like in nature, while most of the MCU characters powers are still somewhat believable to a degree and a little more grounded. Combining these two groups will just be a shitstorm (no pun intended).

I would say no, Captain Marvel is a flagship character. Rogue recently got her powers restored from Wonder man.
