FYI, even on 4G, that movie-length gif took three minutes to load.

Damn cool, though...

Hindsight is always 20/20. Everything seems so easy now, but I remember a time when people were saying Thor wouldn't work well as a movie. Then they said the Avengers had too many characters and wouldn't be any good. Then came people laughing and saying Marvel had finally went too far when with a talking raccoon and a tree. Now people say all those movies are just playing it safe and cookie cutter. These movies are extremely well produced. An 18 movie series of this caliber is no small task.

Keep 'em coming, Marvel!
am about to hit the first Cap movie in my re-watch marathon

They do hold up better with 20/20 IMO

44MB, 12 seconds, 300 frames @ 800x340. Each frame 0.147MB. If you were to have the whole 2.5hour movie in the form of that gif it would be 66GB. Roughly equal to UHD Film of course compression is not as efficient but it's also a fraction of the res.

Now that's done where's my trailer 2!
I want to see more Thor and Star Lord.

Last week Saturday, I watched the first 7 films (Iron Man thru Iron Man 3 in release order) with three friends in a 15 hour period. It was crazy fun. We will be doing the next 5 on March 24 and finish it up the Saturday after.

I Think all of Phase 1 is good, but Captain America: The First Avenger and The Avengers stand out among the others for me. CA:TFA just has so much heart. Black Widow shines in The Avengers. I love Thor and Loki’s dialogue too.

Captain America: The First Avenger is certainly, surely, for sure, unquestionably, without doubt, without question, undoubtedly, indubitably, positively, absolutely; the best out of the phase one movies.

Better?
