Secret Wars is kind of an anomaly. Its meant to sell toys.

Doom stealing the powers is just a rehash of him stealing Surfers powers which he could handle. I still dont think SW Doom could actually beat Infinity War Thanos.

I guess we could google Beyonder vs Thanos who both sabotaged themselves.

Even if you guys don't count Doctor Doom with The Beyonder's powers, you can make a similar argument with Thanos and his infinity gaugthlet as well. Reed Richards, Spider-Man, Black Panther and Santa Clause (seriously) have all worn the infinity gaugthlet as well. So does that automatically make them the most powerful characters in the Marvel universe? No. Don't get me wrong, Thanos can still kick The Avengers asses even without the infinity gaugthlet. But without the infinity gaugthlet, he is not the most powerful villain at all.

Or is just involved with protecting it at some point. Or maybe some of them are just random, like Black Panther on the Time glass. I mean they picture Black Widow and Scarlet Witch with the Reality Stone, and up until now they've had nothing to do with that.
You would think they would put Thor on that one.
