I don't know how its only 31 hours considering there's 19 films and they all push 2 hours, that's closer to 40-41 hours.
I did the Star Wars marathon in 2015 before The Force Awakens. it was 16 hours and 40 minutes. There was a little intermission between each movie, but then an extra long intermission for lunch between the prequels and the originals.

It started at 1:00am. People came in pajamas with pillows. There was some sleeping from time to time. The theater gave us coffee, bagels, and donuts for breakfast. As the day went on, people slowly changed into regular clothes and cosplay.

We had lanyards and could come and go s we pleased. The theater was attached to a mall so I ate in the food court.

As other people came to the theater for other showings, there developed a certain camaraderie among the marathoners. I had a bast. Great memories.

I wasn't able to do it again before The Last Jedi, but I might try this one. If it's only 31 hours, I'm guessing it's not all of the movies. I winder how much it will cost? The Star Wars marathon was $60, and worth every cent.

I did the Phase 1 & 2 Marathon for Age of Ultron, that was 24 hours, started at 4pm the day before and was $55, so I'm assuming maybe $75-90?

That's how our marathon was too. We could leave whenever, bring outside food into the theatre, etc. They were really cool about it. Now that there are recliner chairs at all of my theatres, makes this marathon even nicer.

I'll do something different. I'm going to read the comics that were influenced by this movie instead.

Ugh. There may be nothing stupider on the internet than reaction videos. Like people care to see what you look like when you watch something.

So please, anyone here, don't do it.

( Plus, I'd wager to say the majority of them are faked, like they aren't initial reactions, but rather they have already watched it ahead of time at least once and are exaggerating their reactions)

I wonder if Incredible Hulk & Spider-Man Homecoming will be cut because they are from different studios?

Not necessarily. The one Marvel Marathon I went to, before the first Avengers, included Incredible Hulk.

The theaters I go to are all well ventilated and very nice with leather recliners. I experienced zero problems at the Star Wars marathon.

Also, I've been with the same girl for 14 years, so I'm not looking to meet anyone else, but I will say there were a lot of attractive female fans there.

Showtimes are all on Fandango for my theater as well. Weird thing is, some are greyed out and say sold out, while others are orange, but if you click say on sale soon. (I'm sure nothing is actually sold out though, obviously).

Unfortunately my IMAX is splitting showtimes 2D/3D. I want to see the very first show, which would be 7 p.m., but then it's only in 2D. I'd have to wait till 10:45 to see 3D.
...hell, maybe I will do both

I fully agree, especially with how they are all fake. The few I've seen gave me legit second hand embarrassment.

Or you could, you know, just not watch them and let them do whatever they do to find some happiness in this crappy world?

Nothing says you have to watch them you know.

Nor does anything say you have to be a jerk to those people either.

Just saying.

If these social media-obsessed people want to document everything they do, fine. But don't be surprised or butthurt when people call it out for the crap it is.

If they put their videos out there, they open themselves up to criticism as well as praise. They can't expect the world to only give them positive reactions, especially when they are so often awful.

My Regal with IMAX is the opposite. 3D showtime first, then IMAX 2D at 10:30.

AMC on the other hand, both Thursday night IMAX screenings are 3D. But.....Dolby Cinema screenings at 10:30 and 1:50am.

Well, go for it!
There's the IMAX trend of dividing 2D and 3D, giving the former decent shows for some.

I had no choice but to stick with IMAX 3D for the earliest screening of TFA back in 2015, but I would really much rather go with Dolby or standard IMAX for my first viewing of Infinity War.

Weird. My showings are flipped. 3D at 7 followed by 2D at 10:45.

I have another theater, about an hour away, and a bit more expensive, but much nicer woth recliners amd all, that will have IMAX 3D at 7 p.m., and they also have a Dolby Cinema. I am debating making the trip, but with my kids in tow I'm not sure.

I'm targeting a Dolby showing, but I am still contemplating the Opening Night Fan Event depending on swag and the Marathon depending on price.

Don't do it. All you get is a coin and a collectible tin popcorn bucket.

I produce videos as well and I agree completely here. You have to take the good with the bad.

Then again my videos focus on niche topics and aren't annoying and if you think Reaction videos are bad then DO NOT go anywhere near Don't Judge Challenge videos, I've never seen so many narcissistic people in all my life.
