Where is Hawkeye!? Left off the final poster. No sign of him in the trailers. I know he has been spotted in the Ronan costume in some leaked pics, and he has a sweet new mohawk hairstyle. But what could possibly be that secret for his character's story in relation to this movie that he is left out of everything?
Do u want to know before they show you?

Well no, I do like a nice surprise to be left out. Just find it funny no mention of him anywhere. If they are gonna kill off characters, it would have to be BIG characters to get a reaction. I mean if Hawkeye dies yea that would be sad and work in the movies favor, but not as good a reaction if they kill off the big guns like Iron Man, Cap, Thor, etc.

Isn't Dinklage playing Eitri the blacksmith dwarf who originally forged Mjolnir?

The costume pics could have been from Avengers 4, like many of the other leaked set pics are. (that EW cover you linked to is fan art - he didnt get a cover for this film) Feige has said Hawkeye is off on a separate mission. How much of that, if any, we will see in this film is the question. Same with Ant-Man and Wasp. We havent seen any of them in trailers. Are any of those three actors even listed on the poster?

This is easily the best MCU theatrical poster so far. I love it.

Looks like Stark lost something valuable on his chest armor there... Wonder what it could be, also it looks to me judging by his facial expression like his right arm may been cut off if rumors are true. I have a deep feeling this film will be Starks last.

Ah makes a lot more sense. You are probably right since we know Thor is going to forge a new weapon.

AMC revealed that only the Empire 25 in New York, and the Disney Springs, FL locations will have the marathon.

They also shortened it to 12 of the films:
1:30pm Iron Man
4:00pm The Incredible Hulk
6:15pm Thor
9:00pm Captain America: The First Avenger
11:30pm The Avengers
2:15am Guardians of the Galaxy
4:30am The Avengers: Age of Ultron
7:15am Captain America: Civil War
10:00am Doctor Strange
12:45am Spider-man: Homecoming
3:15am Black Panther
6:00pm Avengers: Infinity War

https://www.amctheatres.com/movies/a...marathon-56563

So, it looks like they're skipping all of the sequels (bar Avengers and Cap 3) and Ant-Man.

The billing is so random

Robert Downey Jr.
Chris Hemsworth
Mark Ruffalo
Chris Evans
Scarlett Johansson
Benedict Cumberbatch
Don Cheadle ?????
Tom Holland
Chadwick Boseman
Paul Bettany
Elizabeth Olsen
Anthony Mackie
Sebastian Stan
Danai Gurira
Letitia Wright
Dave Bautista
Zoe Saldana ??????

with Josh Brolin
and Chris Pratt

How is Don Cheadle still relevant enough to be credited before Black Panther or Spiderman? What Gamora being credited after Drax (and last) means?

And Chris Evans should clearly be next to Downey JR since he's the leader of the Avengers and most important character after Iron Man.

Ruffalo has had zero standalone movies but has been billed over Evans the last 2 movies. After the success of BP, I thought Boseman would have higher billing.

you are correct! Did not even realize ant man/wasp are missing as well. Jeesh. Plus you would think someone such as Nick Fury would play an important role in the biggest marvel movie of them all since he's been there from the start, but he is also missing. I know with him I read some rumors about him out searching for Red Skull tho so maybe that's what he's doing. Maybe Hawkeye is helping him lol.

In most instances, star billing would be negotiated before the contracts are signed. Whoever has more clout (or a better agent?) at the time the contracts are negotiated will get higher billing.

Poster billing is always contractual. It has little to do with the characters or their importance in a film, and everything to do with the stars. Cheadle is a bigger established name than Boseman or Holland (for now)
