for Wed eve, thurs morn, midnight showing (billed as 26th but listed 25th so looks like we still get it before you Americans,,,,sorry, not sorry :-p. )

This should be really dark and serious with fleeting moments of humour.

The humor took away from the serious narrative to me, villain wasn't developed enough and I just didn't care for the ending.

In regards to the Cap vs Thanos scene. I think at first he is surprised at Cap's strength but then starts toying with him before punching him away.

Hawkeye being given something real to do will make me like the character 0% more. Give me back Kick-Ass' Pietro over the dork with a bow and arrow.

I liked Baron Zemo. He clearly affected the Avengers and I cared about him.

New theory suggests Cap has the Soul Stone. Reportedly when Cap goes to strike Thanos, his eyes 'turn' yellow.

It could be that or simply just the Gauntlet's reflection in Steve's eyes.

Definitely this and Black Panther are the top superhero movies of the year.

Tone is on point. Action scenes look amazing. Dialogue sounds dope. The green screen backdrops and lighting however look absolutely atrocious. It looks blatantly obvious when the scene was shot on a sound-stage.

Doesn't look anywhere near as bad to that of Thor: Ragnarok's green screen backdrops.
