During the first appearance of Galactus in FF # 48-50, while the FF battle Galactus and the Silver Surfer, (mostly Galactus) the Watcher senses they will lose sends the human torch on a secretive solo mission.

Johnny is sent through time and space to the home world of Galactus to retrieve the one thing that could destroy him, The Ultimate Nullifier. Of course, the ultimate nullifier would have destroyed everything in existence had it been used.

Not calling their bluff because it would mean his death as well, Galactus vows to leave earth unharmed by him and to never return if they gave him the device. A being of his word, Galactus left earth untouched.

It was the human torches successful completion of his solo secret mission that made that first stand against the World Eater Galactus victorious.

So, not knowing the true nature of Hawkeye's solo mission, I likened him to the human torches mission in that otherwise unwinnable battle like the Avengers are about to have with Thanos.

Thor Ragnarok strangely looked better to me last night when I watched it in 4K, didn't stick out quite as much. Thor's hair makes the background extremely obvious for whatever reason.

I'm referring to the scene when Odin dies btw

Yeah, I agree. Black Panther looked really rough in certain scenes, especially near the end of the film. It wasn't full Justice League levels of bad but it was approaching it.

But again, not nearly as bad as Ragnarok, or as Black Panther, which had a ton of horribly blended greenscreen scenes.

I did the Star Wars marathon in 2015 before The Force Awakens. it was 16 hours and 40 minutes. There was a little intermission between each movie, but then an extra long intermission for lunch between the prequels and the originals.

It started at 1:00am. People came in pajamas with pillows. There was some sleeping from time to time. The theater gave us coffee, bagels, and donuts for breakfast. As the day went on, people slowly changed into regular clothes and cosplay.

We had lanyards and could come and go s we pleased. The theater was attached to a mall so I ate in the food court.

As other people came to the theater for other showings, there developed a certain camaraderie among the marathoners. I had a bast. Great memories.

I wasn't able to do it again before The Last Jedi, but I might try this one. If it's only 31 hours, I'm guessing it's not all of the movies. I winder how much it will cost? The Star Wars marathon was $60, and worth every cent.

I had to sit in one of the very front row of seats and it made it look extremely noticeable. I'll never see another movie in those rows again, crazy uncomfortable and hard on the eyes.

I’m starting tomorrow night. I’m going to go in chronological order, which seems to be close to release order, with some Phase One shuffling and watching both Guardians movies together. Should be fun

Been taking my time rewatching at random intervals.
Did Cap 1last night, Avengers earlier and just about to start Iron Man 3.
I may start a second run through if I blast through the see in the next week now a month off work.

Doing them in release order but if I restart am gonna go through chronologically(including any one shots) or as close to timeline order as possible, depending on BP being out still or not.

This is my issue.

Thats a property of the heart-shaped herb that only the royal family blood lineage can access.

I think the Wakandans dont even know its on their property.
