The two biggest moments I'm anticipating in 2018.

Cap and Tony meeting for the first time since Civil War, and Laurie Strode meeting Michael Myers for the first time in 40 years, in the upcoming Halloween film.

Anyone trying to avoid spoilers should know by now to avoid any threads or discussions about said film.
Thing that sucks is, at some point, if they frequent the cinema, they're going to get exposed. Sure if they know a trailer is spoiler-ific they could walk out but that shouldn't be the way it goes. We, as an audience just need good trailers without ruining everything. The MCU has been good about it. So far the last ad campaign I remember that showed a bit without crashing the experience was FURY ROAD. Even the new M:I trailer is a bit much. But that seems to be how Paramount is these days. I'm at the point where those so called trailers for trailers are a benefit.

USA All Material Is Never Unavoidable

Language Worship. Yeah, it's all fair game but as an avid film lover, I tend to only read about peoples opinions and theories prior to a films release. I guess I'm just spoiled when it comes to seeing multi-threads on Blu-Ray.com; threads designed as a "Spoiler" thread, while there's others made as "Non-Spoiler threads."

I like to see and/or know all the angles everyone is looking from and speculating; Then, when the film is released, and I've just finished watching it, I reflect on what IS versus what MIGHT HAVE BEEN to others. Whether good or bad from ones point of view, it's intriguing to know what people wished to see or believe versus what really happened.

All material is never unavoidable, that's social media.

The only problem I have with the gifs is load time. If you post something really long, like that megaclip from a few days ago, or one post with multiple gifs, it takes forever to load. Even on 4G LTE, several recent pages in this thread take four minutes to load due to gif-heavy posts. They're so slow, it's like being back on dialup...

You need an upgrade because I’m not experiencing that.

I thought the MI trailer was not too revealing.

Well, after heavy debate and research. This will be the first film I see in Dolby Cinema. I'll see it at the IMAX for my second showing.

I regret nothing. For me, it's about the experience and not the details.

Um,yeah it’s does matter.
The marathon posted a few pages back skips the sequels, bar Avengers and I was correct when stating that Thor TDW doesn’t explicitly mention he Aether was Ann infintiy stone, merely an achient relic. This,my, that isn’t likely why it’s disregarded from the marathon: not an origin or direct continuation movie.

Btw, loki didn’t ya have the ‘cube’ stone. It was the mind stone that is now with vision.
The Tesseract or cube, was the space stone.....might want to check you know your stones before picking things apart.

Of all recent MCU releases, the 3D discs all open up to full screen at certain points, just like the IMAX cinema version.

If they change this for infintiy I’ll be pissed off, big time.

Fortunately the MCU has yet to spoil anything as far as ads go. Thats why I have no problem watching them.
I dunno,
Showing Winter Solider as Bucky and Hulk in Ragnorok wouldn’t have worked better as surprise than being shown in the trailers IMO

I wish there would just be an official end to 3D. That one day all the studios would just get together and declare that 3D is officially over.

It’s annoying that the ‘Fan Event’ for this is 3D and that all my local theaters are told to have more 3D showtimes than 2D. I get it, I used to work there, 3D means $3 more per ticket. Higher box office gross. It makes sense from a business stand point, but the 2D showtimes sell out in minutes and all that ends up being left are the 3Ds.

Yeah, I was forced to see Thor: Ragnarok in 3D because the 2D showings would get way too packed.

I found it funny that Peter was talking about going by made up names when Dr. Strange technically isn't a made up name. [emoji23]
