Yeah, I was quite annoyed that Ronan was beating the crap out of him with ease. Drax should have been doing a bit of damage to Ronan but he was getting owned the entire time.

I didn't mind. Drax defeated himself by clouding his judgment with anger.

What bothered me more was Ronan was much stronger than Drax , it wasen't even a contest it was a slaughter or a man playing with a child . Drax should have still lost but their strength should have been closer because there is no way Drax could even have a chance against Thanos .

Sorry for quoting an old post, but I really like this idea. I'd really love to see the supporting characters moving to the forefront and getting more prominent arcs in the future. I like Steve and Tony, but a lot of the other actors are doing an exceptional job with their characters, and it'd be nice to see them not play second fiddle to Captain America or Iron Man for once.

It could equally be a mistake though because to a lot of people Iron Man and co are the Avengers.

IRON MAN DIRECTOR JON FAVREAU RETURNING AS AN EXECUTIVE PRODUCER ON AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR

Iron Man and Iron Man 2 director Jon Favreau is returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe to work on both parts of Avengers: Infinity War.

"I'm going to be executive producing the Avengers films with the Russo brothers, which I'm very excited about," Favreau told Digital Spy. The director/producer carried an executive producer title on both previous Avengers films, and Iron Man 3, with Age of Ultron being his latest project with Marvel.

Favreau continued, saying he's "constantly looking" to work with Marvel, and now that he's "freed up," he's doing just that. Part 1 of Avengers: Infinity War is scheduled to hit theaters May 4, 2018.

As to why he turned down directing duties for 2013's Iron Man 3, Favreau said he wanted time away from the franchise to "explore other things."

One of those "other things" turned out to be a live-action adaptation of Disney's The Jungle Book, which debuted atop the domestic box office this past weekend. Favreau has already been tapped to direct the sequel.

I'm hoping they bring Joss in as a producer with Jon. Hopefully time has helped heal his experience on AoU and he gets back into the fold a bit.

Don't know why that's news. He's been an "Exec Producer" on both Avengers movies. Even if he was just receiving a check.
