It's only natural for the comics to come up in a comic book movie thread, but you constantly take the thread so far away from the movie that it's ridiculous. The movies aren't going to be like the comics for so many reasons. Stop nitpicking and just enjoy one of the biggest entries into one of the most successful movie franchises we have.

What are you talking about? I've been saying for months that Thanos' comic motives doesn't translate well into film. So if anything, I want them to change things up for the MCU. Don't assume things based on arguments that I'm being some comic book elitist without actually reading them first.

Eventually, the MCU has to touch upon time-travel at some point. If not from the time-traveling mutants, then Kang probably will.

Actually I heard that at the end of

[Show spoiler] Thanos comes down and starts ****ing everyone up, the avengers assemble and there are a few fights featuring the different groups of avengers. In Wakanda Steve Rogers and the others who were with him go to war with Thanos' army and they are losing badly. Lots of Wakandan warriors are going down, it is a losing fight. But then Thor comes down with all of his thunder and wrecks a bunch of Thanos' army. Thor then takes on Thanos 1v1 and kills him. This is where it gets crazy. As Thanos lay defeated he snaps his fingers that are wearing the infinity guantlet and half the people on earth just vanish. Que Hawkeye at his farm hanging with his family and he turns around and all of a sudden they are gone. They are now in the multiverse and the remaining avengers must rescue them in Avengers 4.

Like I said before, if Thanos doesn't end up with all 6 Infinity Stones and wipes out at least Earth or parts of the universe, then I will be pretty disappointed.

And this is coming from someone who never grew up reading comic books, I just know a few things that happened in them. I just think with all the hype, anything less would be a disappointment.
