Because it happened in the comics? Well, then by that logic, Phoenix will destroy planets in X-Men: Dark Phoenix just like in the comics.

Your having a FoX-Men tantrum. Thats your default conversation.

At this point they've already established Thanos' goal.
The comics are a moot point when theyve given us enough in the 10+ films to go on.

Apocalypse didnt show outer-space or Phoenix actually being an external entity. You can imagine/speculate as a fan that they might go that route.

But IW/IG doesnt need the books at this point. The evidence is stacked.

Feel free to lose sleep.

Likely a disaster, just like his takeover of Justice League. Joss Whedon is a skilled filmmaker, but he works best when he's in total control. Marvel let him have mostly free reign with The Avengers, but Age of Ultron suffered because he kept clashing with Feige and the other higher-ups. Justice League was a trainwreck because Whedon's vision was drastically different from Snyder's, but WB insisted on meshing the two. To this day, Joss Whedon is still best known for his own creations...and he seems okay with that.

So what? Almost every movie has a mcguffin and the villain always gets his plan foaled by the heroes. Lets be honest, you are only saying this because it happens in the comics. I honestly don't care if Thanos gets all of the infinity stones. My problem is, being like the comics is perfectly okay whenever you see it fit to justify yourself. How am I suppose to react to that? I'm just going by your logic. If you think I want my comic book movies to be page by page faithful, then clearly you totally missed read everything I said in the past. That's not my fault.

Honestly...Its Thanos gathering Infinity Stones to assemble the already shown Gauntlet. Again...I dont need the comics anymore.

Your using rumors to address rumors.......see how that works?

True. I recall him saying something like Age of Ultron "broke him" and he was left exhausted afterwards.

I'm sure they would have already spoiled that in the trailer if he was in the movie. Why Marvel ever revealed Spider-Man in the Civil War trailer is still mind boggling to me. The surprise of seeing Spider-Man during a MCU movie for the first time should have been that cleaning the seats moment. Marvel had their one shot at a shocking character reveal and they blew it big time. I'm sorry but
[Show spoiler]Silver Surfer
won't even move the needle in an ensemble cast as big as what is in store for Infinity War.

In short, all I'm trying to say is, make up your mind. I get a lot of crap from you guys every time I speculate what could happen in the movies based on the comics. But now, I'm wrong for thinking Thanos won't get all of the infinity stones like he did in the comics? You can't win.

He did 2 Avengers already. Russos have IW.

Lets rewind.

Do you really think that Thanos wont acquire a fully loaded Gauntlet?

Yes or No?

I dont need any theories or macguffin talk.

I posted this a day or two ago. It's an Instagram post from Josh Brolin. Read it for a possible extra hint.
