When I keep hearing "biggest movie ever" simply adding Guardians to the Avengers doesn't live up to that for me...I'm not expecting twenty additional new characters, but a few surprises and twists would be most welcome

Take it with a grain of salt, Here's what really happened.

Someone edited the IMDb cast and it got past whatever lax approvals they have there.
Metacritic scraped the cast data from IMDb
Someone at IMDb fact checked and reverted the cast list.
People noticed the Metacritic listing, and assumed because Metacritic doesn't have an edit feature it must be from a trusted source.

I should stay off this thread, reading about what may/may not happen, who may/may not be in the movie...

some of the stuff might even end up happening, meaning it wont have as much impact (coz of hearing about it beforehand)

or some really good/crazy theory wont happen, and i'll end up feeling disappointed coz they didnt chose to go in that direction

I dont know what to do anymore, I cant stay away till the 26th

I hope this is true because then it would be following the comic book. Thanos is the main character. The coolness of the graphic novel is that we follow him as the main character and understand his perspective. The “heroes” just get in his way. I really hope the trailers are false advertising everything and that the Avengers arent the main focus.

No, Surfer cannot. Fox has the movie rights, and the Disney acquisition won't go through for at least another year. It is business as usual at both studios until the deal is government-approved. It HAS to be, in case the buy-out ends up not happening.
