I don't think Thor will die. After the success of Ragnarok I wouldn't be surprised if they make a 4th film. I think it was well received compared to the first two films.

Thor has taken a back seat to the others in the first 2 avengers movies. But, since he's one of the "bigger" names, Marvel could get away with that being their "big death."

That depends on a) if Hemsworth wants to do another one. He's stated a few times that his contract is up. Now, he's also recently said after Raganrok he'd be open to do another one... and possibly more. I would assume Marvel would want another multi-picture deal and b) will Marvel want to pay him the raise he will surely ask for?

I like Doctor Strange but not his standalone movie that much. It would seem useless to kill him off after not getting at least one sequel.

Yondu also died a hero. Plus he died in his second appearance -- making him more of a "regular"
QS first "appearance" was a 15 second cameo.

Absolutely zero chance of that happening. Black Panther is getting at least a trilogy, maybe some spinoffs, only then would they consider retiring T'Challa & passing the throne to someone else. The first BP is one of the biggest movies ever, and got a new audience interested in Marvel; no way are they messing with that.

We only know that Chris wants to stop after Avengers 4. That's it. Anything else is speculation.

I said in the "Avengers 4" thread, that I think Steve's final scene should be with Bucky. I can see the Captain mortally wounded, with Sharon, Sam, Tony, and Natasha all nearby. Steve grips Bucky's human hand, smiles weakly, and says his final words: "Always with you, Buck...till the end of the line..." And then, to cap it all off (no pun intended)...maybe a very faint sigh: "Peggy..."

A hero like Cap deserves a heroic death, and a chance to say goodbye to his closest friends. Plus, it would tie very nicely into the final moments of The Winter Soldier.
