When you say domestic, you means US?

As mentioned earlier, worldwide is what really counts(being the total gross/profit etc)so Black Panther is only 10th.
It’s beating Frozen though, which considering what a massive deal that was, I say still damn impressive.

So Jim still hogs the two top spots

I could see this movie shooting into one of the top 5 places, and although I love Titanic myself(Bit of an Olympic Class ship nerd-been to H&W docks/museum in Belfast) would love to see this or the next Avengers movie steal the top spot Fromm Avatar and Mr Cameron. He needs to share and quit hogging the top spots. Lol

Based on prior releases.

It will be 3-4months after it leave cinemas which I reckon we’ll have it in theatres until June, easy.
No way. Blu ray release is 3-4 months after theatrical release not after it leaves theaters. August would be 4 months. Which is tops. September would be 5 months after release and they've never waited that long.

I'd say by mid August it should be out on Blu ray.

First Avengers hit theatres April 26th and we got home release mid-September.
Ultron was April 23rd and again, saw mid-sept release for blu. So this, based on assumed release being 3/4 months after leaving theatres, point she strongly to this also, being a Sept home release,

Pretty sure Sept was the release month for most countries around the world.

Films have been hitting blu rays a lot quicker than they used to. I highly doubt it will be a September release August will be the latest IMO.

Also, 3 months after April is July and 4 months is August. September would be 5 months. They don't wait that long to release films on blu ray anymore. Just look at the past few MCU blu ray releases have all been 4 months tops.

And there's a big difference between "after a movie hits theatres" and "after it leaves theatres". Infinity War will most likely still be in theaters by June and July. 3-4 months after that would be October/November lol so no its not after it leaves thatres its after it releases in theaters.

.

Ragnorok, the most recent MCU was out end of Oct (27th I think) the we got the home release mid-late March = 5 months (or 3mo this from it leaving screens, as an average 2month run...l

Based on the average run of 5months from cinema day release to homemade release, I’d put money on this also being sept.

Am not saying some movies don’t have quicker turn around, but looking at just Marvel, it’s clear the MCU movies follow a similar release pattern of 4-5 months from theatrical release.

I’d actually expect Black Panther being more likely to peak into early Aug for home release(though I expect we’d see it end June-mid July more likely, despite it’s estimated May release as it’s still showing daily in cinemas right now)

Obviously i’d Prefer an early release and hope am wrong, but everything points to Sept for Infinity.

I would have guessed August/September if Black Panther weren't hitting Blu-ray exactly 3 months after the theatrical. BP released 2/16 and Blu-ray is 5/15, 3 months. I'm not sure if it is 100% confirmed or not but Best Buy gives that as the release date after you place your order, same happened with Ragnarok and it was true.

I feel like we'd have heard about digital if 5/15 is true but we'll see

First of all, Ragnarok was released on November 3rd in theaters and released on blu ray March 6th. That's 4 months, not 5. And it was in plenty of theatres well into January also.

And like I said most blu ray releases (especially the MCU) have been coming out 3-4 months after theatrical release. Not 5.

There's no way they wait till September for a blu ray release. Back then it was normal but times have changed. When was the last time any film came out on blu ray 5 months after release?

And are you high? Black Panther to peak for a home release in August? Uhhh... What? You realize that would be 6 months after release?

Lol. You clearly have no idea what you talk about. Black Panther will be out either in May or June at the latest.

Dunkirk and Despicable Me 3 (at least in the U.S.) were five months from theatrical release to hit Blu. But Nolan and Illumination seem to like to take their time before releasing on home, 3-4 months is more common.

Illumination always (unless the film doesn't come out in the summer) releases in December to take advantage of holiday shopping. Nolan I'm guessing just likes to leg it out as long as possible to get people seeing it in theaters (and like Illumination, usually released in mid-late summer too).

Finally! Someone worth responding to who doesn't respond like a tight ass.

Yeah fatheads are cool, but I have no room for any of that stuff.
