True, but WS could have worked outside of the events in Avengers. WS wasn’t no directly affected/reliant in the same way as Ultron and CW

Saw it in IMAX 3D. OMG!!! I knew it would be good; I didn't think it would be (pretty much) PERFECTION. I loved Avengers 1 and thought 2 was "good enough". I loved Winter Soldier and thought Civil War was kinda boring with repeat viewings. I had no idea how the Russo brothers would handle all these different characters, styles, and storylines, but this really is an amazing achievement. Wow. Just WOW. 5 stars

You're like the guy who picks up issue #43 of a comic series and complains that the entire book isn't devoted to orienting readers to what a comic book is. Your opinion is less than worthless.

I felt like a kid in a candy shop watching Avengers: Infinity War. What those who aren’t invested in this universe may consider overstuffed is packed from beginning to end with payoff for those of us who are. I could probably go on and on about how much I enjoyed the film, but honestly I’m still in a bit of a daze and whatever I write wouldn’t cover it. I will give a special nod to Alan Silvestri for composing one of the MCU’s best scores. I can’t wait to see it again and to see what this leads to.

8.5/10

16. Iron Man 3: 76
17. Thor: The Dark World: 73
18. Black Panther: 72
19. Spider-man Homecoming: 71

And before people complain about my lacing of Black Panther and Spider-man, I think both movies suffer the same problem. Good villains, fun movies, but nothing that particularly stands out in terms of story, acting, visuals, or sound. And for black panther, as much as I appreciate the film giving good roles in superhero movies to people of color, that type of thing doesn't influence my rating. It's great that we're getting more diversity in our comic book movies, but they still need to be held to the same standards, and having a good villain, on its own, doesn't save those movies for me.

Honestly, not that many things were moments as almost any "bombshell" was pretty easily predicted. There were probably 2-3 things that were completely unexpected as far as reveals/big happenings go. That's not really a problem of course, just more of a statement of the facts.

I'm mixed on the ending because having
[Show spoiler]Black Panther and Spider-Man disappear
immediately telegraphs that some of the 'consequences' of the film are not going to stick. Had that not happened, I would have walked out saying "holy crap...can't believe they did that..."

I need to see it again to process more of the finer details of course; the movie is full speed ahead from start to finish and you barely have a minute to catch up.

Was also surprised at how small a part
[Show spoiler]Cap
had. Post-Credit scene was also pretty safe/expected.

Thanos though, absolutely perfect for what he needed to be. Fantastic job by the writers and Brolin.

Initial Rating - 4/5
Your first spoiler is what i hope isn’t true
[Show spoiler]I don’t want the rumoured ‘reversing’ but maybe those ‘deaths’ were only in THIS universe. They could be within the world of the soul stone, like the comics, or they could be in another reality/universe within Marvels Multiverse

On second viewing, I would have liked more background on Thanos and his Black Order rather than
[Show spoiler]just a single Gamora based flashback
we ended up with

i like how you have done this and shall take on the same idea. I find it a little hard to number them in order myself - as I actually really like them all, but here is my own list -

The "REALLY REALLY Great" list

The Avengers
Iron Man
GOTG
CA Winter Soldier
CA Civil War

The "Really Enjoyed - but not as much" list
Thor/CapAmerica (have always regarded these 2 as a double bill)
GOTG2
Thor3
Iron Man3
Thor2
Avengers: Ultron

The "They are okay but just not as good (but still like them, heaps)" list
Avengers: IW
IronMan2
Spiderman HC
AntMan
Black Panther
The Incredible Hulk
Doctor Strange

I did enjoy it, but I was not blown away.

[Show spoiler]

It also felt messy and unfinished or edited in parts. For instance, the Hulk is seen in the trailers in the assault on Wakanda, but not in the film. Also, why did the Hulk just show up at the point he did at the beginning? After the survivors of Asgard had all been slaughtered already? And Jeremy Renner also filmed scenes in Edinburgh last year, but he was no where to be seen in the end.
I would of liked to have seen Thanos get that first Stone.
I was also getting very bored of both Iron Man's and Spiderman's suit abilities which seemed to do literally everything.
Also, the FX surpirsingly looked iffy in bits
And - all those characters that turning to dust does not feel so final to me, especially as sequels to Spiderman, Black Panther and GOTG have already been announced. May have been better if these other movies hadn't of been announced at this point, it would have made more of an impact.

But don't get me wrong, I'm pleased people are loving it, and feel a strange sort of jealousy at their love and hype of it and only wished I was blown away by it myself. I hope it keeps the MSU wheels turning which I'm sure it will. I did enjoy it to a point though, and will be watching it again at the flicks and have already ordered it on BD steelie, but it isn't the best MCU movie to me.
Hulkbusters
[Show spoiler]was in the Wankandan assault, though we were left to assume the suit was able to be called by him so easy, despite him being in space for years and Tony unlikely having either left the suit there, or changed permissions post South Africa, low banner to call it
.
As for the Hulk
[Show spoiler]Heimdell sent him to earth and died as a result.
also, as is common with trailers in present day, what’s seen in trailers often differs from the final cut.

As for the other complaints, we’re sort of just thrown into the action. Hitting the ground running a bit, but agree a few things needed addressing, owing or fleshing out
[Show spoiler]at no point wasn’t it covered that Corvias Glaive’s blade had unique qualities, which would explain why it damaged vision to the point he couldn’t phase

Seeing
[Show spoiler]Thanos get the Power Stone felt like a cop out.
agreed

The Spidey and Iron Man
[Show spoiler]were mentioned to be ‘highly intuitive, nano-tech’
hence them being the way they we’re

Half agree with your points on the finale.

Swings and roundabouts I think cos there’s have been times I got annoyed at missing dialogue due to big laughs in some movies before....it the excitement of a concert, at a movie is something I’d like to experience.
Not that we don’t have atmosphere, it’s just, more reserved whilst the movie is on I guess.

Did anyone else's friends on FB say they will unfollow, defriend, slap me if they post your opinion (if it was good or bad) or a number review (5 out of 5)?

I never spoil a movie on social media...but I do give a rating... I don't think that should matter to anyone.

Just got out. Over at a Buffalo Wild Wings right now, so I'll be brief. Movie was Awesome with a capital A. The only real negative I had was Mark Ruffalo. He was just... not good. He failed at selling everything serious he had to sell.

But everything else? Just sooo good. So much. So much to talk about. So much to love.
