right?

I mean, nothing wil match the 'gasp' fest of a first viewing but its very re-watchable, which is great

Booked a ticket for my 4th (still IMAX whilst its £6 a pop) showing later today.
Still not quite done D-box or 4Dx showing yet(the snob in me doesn't want to lose the fuller aspect ratio to see it in a standard screen....lol)

Just home from my 3rd viewing as well. Damn, this is a great story. A few years ago when the Marvel Phase III announcement was made, that summer at Comic Con, I bought three
books; Captain America : The Winter Soldier, Captain America : Civil War, and Infinity Gauntlet, in anticipation of the proposed films, and to familiarize myself with characters and stories. Boy, am I glad I did. The Russo Brothers are amazingly adept at finding a way to incorporate source material in their films. And, it wasn't known at that time they'd be the ones directing all four films!

I mentioned all that to further explain how pleased I am with this film; even through various speculation and guessing, they still found a way to make this tale fresh, and highly staked. Hearing gasps, verbal outbursts such as Oh No..!, and hearing sniffles, from Women, children, and MEN, meant the past ten years have seriously impacted this audience.

Thank you MARVEL STUDIOS.

Respect.

I remember buying Civil War off the back of Iron Man 2(its when I got into Marvel comics properly having only dabbled in a few GN's of various types over the years prior) thinking 'well they dont own Spidey so we'll never see this on the screen' - how little I knew but more importantly, I didnt want to read anything that WAS going to be on screen. I love reading books or comic's AFTER seeing the movie as I much prefer watching things knowing as little as possible.

I honestly think that the first Avengers film will never be surpassed, in the MCU anyway, because of the lightning-in-a-bottle circumstances of how it came into the world I.e. the first time a major team-up movie to have been released with this much effort put into it. What’s more, now that every scrap of information about these films is parcelled out and discussed on the internet months or years in advance, including the contractual obligations of the actors involved, it’s become much more apparent who is going to make it to the next film based on the business model rather than the narrative beats of the film itself. For this reason, I admire the ballsyness of Infinity War’s ending, and the performances of all involved. It's a very entertaining film, one of the best in the series so far, and Josh Brolin’s Thanos is one of the most fascinatingly nuanced performances of the MCU, but Avengers 1 still remains my favourite.
Avengers was just so damn perfect. It's hard to top 10/10 "once in a lifetime" even with something so epic as Infinity War.

Spidey's scene is the most emotional I I've gotten watching a movie. I wish i could experience that for the first again.

Well, I saw Infinity War for the fourth time yesterday and sat close to the front with an isle between me and the rest of the auditorium. So, when that Spidey scene came up as well as a few before it I watched the crowd reaction over my shoulder instead of the screen.
[Show spoiler] It was PRICELESS. People openly crying and and small girl tugging on her dad's arming completely puzzled and shocked.
You can experience it for the first time through their eyes!

I really had to hold it in. I did not want people near me to see. But i heard some sniffling.

Holland himself choked up the 2nd time he saw it.

Even when the credits popped up, i was still choking up because of that scene.

I am very "emotional", "choker" & "Crier", but really I did not feel an iota of emotion during the ending. I thought it was something different/bold, but the weight of the franchise is still very much there in the entire movie. Overall I would say I was underwhelmed. I would probably rate it near 3.5 (may be 3.3 or 3.4), rounded up to 3. That's the most I can do...

Thor Rangarok (2/5) < Avenger IW (3/5) < Black Panther (4/5)

He did seem too hyper, too anxious in this. I prefer when he plays it cool.

He looked like he was having too much fun on set. It was at a point where I'm almost turned off by the idea of a stand-alone Hulk movie starring Mark Ruffalo now. While all of the other actors were giving it their all. Especially from Chris Hemsworth.

It's just because you didn't like the way his character direction went.

It's not just that. It's also not very consistent with the flow of movie. Everyone is giving subtle and emotional performances, yet the guy who is supposedly playing the most angriest character in the movie looks like he's phoning it in.
