But Thanos on the other hand, he causes a lot of destruction just because of his love for death. How does that make him a great villain? Also I have seen the trailer for The Avengers: Infinity War, and it seems like everyone is already getting their asses kicked by Thanos. So what the hell will The Avengers 4 be about then? Thanos kicking their asses some more? Kinda contradicts what Kevin Feige and the Russo brothers are saying about The Avengers 4 being a stylistic different movie.

He keeps going on and on about nothing. From what I gather, most people were not anticipating what would happen at the end of this movie as far as who would live and die. Also, if your whole argument is a movie can’t be emotional if you know a character is not really dead, why would you even watch movies?

You have it completely backwards. By your logic... Making only one villain great > Making all villains great. Shame on me for wanting to see other villains get equal treatment. And people say I'm a Marvel hater. By the way, I think you are confused by my comments on Thanos' powers. I don't care if it's not like the comics. If anything, I've been saying for YEARS how concern I was about Thanos appearing in the MCU. Because his motives and story wouldn't translate well into film at all. That's why I have always been skeptical about Thanos. Oh look, and I was completely right. My concerns came true. Everything I worried about Thanos from the comics was changed for the MCU, and for the better. A comic book accurate Thanos wouldn't work in live-action, and even the writers. So all those times you guys gave me shit, I was right to be concerned all along.

Am I missing something here? Okay, so let be get this straight...it's wrong of me for not having any emotional response to the "fate" of these characters in the movie, yet you guys are not denying that pretty much most of it will be undone anyway. Why do you think I said Hugh Jackman's Wolverine should remain dead? Because it would actually mean something knowing that version of the character won't come back. So you can't compare this to other movies, because some things actually DO stay permanent.

I don't think anyone can say marvel villains are usually well done except maybe the winter soldier that did turn good. Thanos was, I feel, the best villian. Loki was as well but most everyone else was rather flat.
