Considering the Xmen will be front and center in Avengers 5 yeah might as well just include them now lol, hell I wouldnt doubt if marvels Days of Future Past or Apocalypse story resets the MCU in Avengers 6 or 7 and we see the original avengers back with different actors after Avengers 7

Still, though. Isn't it still Jean's powers and the Phoenix Force only increases it to it's full potential? Where as infinity stones, they are a MacGuffin. Not a source of Thanos' powers. Anyone, and plenty already have, can use the infinity gauntlet. So the fact that people always included the infinity gauntlet in a versus argument is a joke. Because they know that Thanos ain't shit without it.

Have u ever read a story where the Phoenix entity worked as just an entity and without a host?

Ive always found it weird that the galaxy can fear Phoenix yet ive never read a story outside of Jean Grey.....so did it use an organic host before or was it like Galactus previous to reviving Jean?

Even if Thanos is beatable without the Gauntlet, his arc acquiring and using the Gauntlet, is more impressive than some made up no-history having entity that fused with a dead Jean Grey who needed an upgrade due to her underdeveloped Marvel Girl persona.

All I know is, Phoenix did beat Thanos once. However, the host wasn't Jean Grey, so maybe Phoenix Force does play a huge factor on how powerful Jean is.

The sad thing about that is, even a heavily watered down Phoenix is still too much for Thanos. That's how powerful Phoenix is in the comics.

The Phoenix is a cosmic entity. Still it is only as powerful as the writer says it is. So any character can be defeated at anytime.
