A4's not a series finale, not when we already know there's more coming. I agree that IW is a season finale, and we're desperately waiting for the start of the next season. And that season will start with Captain Marvel (unless Feige says otherwise, like Ant-Man being the end of Phase 2 rather than the start of Phase 3).

Yes, there is more coming. But that doesn't mean it's season four. More like a sequel series.

Not really, it's the same series putting more focus on different characters. Cheers changed a couple of its major characters but never stopped being Cheers for nine seasons. Same principle here.

What I meant was it's a sequel series in the sense that Dragon Ball Super is a sequel to Dragon Ball Z, or Naruto Shippuden is a sequel to Naruto. Same thing is happening with the MCU as well after Avengers 4.

Kevin Feige already confirmed that it won't be called Phase Four.

Yeah. After Avengers 4, the MCU will start a new series of films. Avengers 4 is the closing chapter of 10 years worth of stories told in three Phases. Whatever comes after is a fresh start/new beginning.

How when there will be sequels in the next phase?

Yeah there's no "fresh start," they're still continue some plot/character strands from before Infinity War. It'll be "fresh" in that they're gonna start the ten-year buildup to the next Thanos-type super-threat (aka Galactus ).

Kevin Feige might want to use Phoenix in the MCU as a way to have an Avengers vs. X-Men movie. The Avengers want to destroy Phoenix, but the X-Men want to save Jean.

How can there be a 'fresh start' when there are planned sequels for Black Panther, GOG, Dr Strange, who are very much part of Phase 2 and 3.

Not to mention the likely sequels to Antman and Thor
