Ruffalo has some fun moments in the MCU, but I miss Norton's version. Much more interesting as a character imo.

Haven't had that feeling before (well, maybe The Matrix) and I doubt I'll get that feeling again.
The opening sequence is f**king amazeballs. It's still crazy that a live action CBM on such epic scale exists and it turned out this great.

Norton's Hulk was also more badass looking too.

Well shit, now I want to see a John Woo Hulk movie. Granted, I want to see a John Woo version of everything, but still. Gamma radiation doves!

I think Infinity War nailed the perfect balance of all the elements and left us wanting more but i feel Endgame just couldn't stick the landing and for me its a shame because the potential with a few tweaks was there.

I agree that Infinity War probably is the better movie because of the fact that it doesn't try to pull off time travel shenanigans and paint its audience as morons who can't understand the concepts of how it's been constantly told to us over time in pop culture.

Just having a straight up Point A to Point B journey and facilitating all the bad ass action glued me to this as THE movie at the top of my Avengers list.

It all built up to Infinity War. Easily my most enjoyable comic book movie. Endgame was just the icing on the cake.

He snapped his fingers, made a couple of dab jokes and a stupid remark about his character in the 2012 scene.

Yeah Hulk had to grow and develop as a character but that doesn't change the fact that Professor Hulk sucks major ass.
No Professor Hulk was fine but what they should have shown was all 3 personalities merging. In Endgame the final battle Prof Hulk should have Hulked out to complete the embracing of both personalities. Had they shown the final transference the payoff would have been great and we wouldn't be left dangling with the Hulk arc. Especially if the rumors for Phase 4 and Avengers 5 are true and Hulk is the bad guy.

I don't think they should've gone full CG for that female villain character, the face work isn't great and is so human in terms of proportion they might as well have used the real actress.

Oh. That would make sense.

No idea why I was thinking they meant Hela

Was anyone else weirdly attracted to Proxima?

I thought her CGI was probably the best out of the 4 Thanos underlings tbh. That said, anytime you show something we almost have no real reference point for, our minds tend to point out the fake nature of that on the Uncanny Valley. Although that said, VFX imo haven't reached photorealistic equivalence just yet where they could become indistinguishable from non-CGI characters side by side but certain elements such as the large warrior groups for example done in CGI composition were more accepted by our brain because of the real world reference points from the actors and extras next to them and blending better.

I think the best example i can think of with CGI integration is when Stark wears his full suit for the first time it forms almost flawlessly around him and even casts the right amount of shadow around his face as the helmet closes. Contrast that to Banner's head in the Hulk Buster which is practically floating and really obvious. Bear in mind there's been like 10 years between the two titles.

You must've forgotten Davy Jones in POTC: Dead Man's Chest as many believed the entirely CGI character to have been the work of practical effects and facial prosthetics.

No, i haven't forgotten and it was an amazing piece of CGI for the time and still a gold standard for an "At least" level of CGI to be aimed for in 2020 onwards but you could still tell it was CGI against the real actors but it's one of the best examples how to do it better back then and even now.

Honestly, Cap's arrival in Infinity War made me cry the first time I saw it. Part of that was because of all the rumors that he was going to be killed off. I just love the character and having the theme build up... so good!
