It's going to be a sight to see if Disney assembles every hero to appear at SDCC or D23.

it definitely needed to be about a half hour longer to flesh some stuff out at least, but I barely followed it first time round and like you, am well keyed into the MCU and Marvel world(more than the average movie goer)

It's as if Marvel doesn't want their other villains to overshadow Thanos, because he is suppose to be the "final" boss of this saga.
I hope that what they are doing...Thanos is one big bad you CANT neuter

I honestly dont recall that and have followed most Marvel threads since before the first Avengers (not saying it wasnt there btw)

But still, the hype I saw, pre Ultron was more sceptical (rightly so) as it was a sequel

marvel better not go ***** and make thanos extremely powerful and ruthless and actually showing 90% of the deaths of the heroes.

shocking the audience that has no clue behind the power of thanos and the infinity gauntlet!

More so than Black Widow? She is completely useless against Thanos. Hell, she was already useless against Ultron. Almost felt like they had to dumb down Ultron's army just so Black Widow can kick some ass.

I say kill Tony Stark. People are always complaining no one big dies, and he's had more than his fair share of screentime. Give some other characters a go.

They have to!! the audience will be prepared since in the first Guardians of The Galaxy a character tells Ronan that Thanos is the most powerful being in the universe!! doing less... then this movie will almost be a failure from Marvel and the Russo Brothers....one thing already bothering me it looks like there will be no Adam Warlock for Infinity War

I want Thanos to obviously kick some major ass and be super powerful but I had to raise an eyebrow when they called him "the most powerful being in the universe". Not even close, at least without the Infinity Gems.

Most powerful my ass! Thanos gets defeated many times in the comics. Hell, he was already dead in the beginning of the Infinity Gauntlet comic. Worst part is, Thanos lets himself open to get defeated. If they do that in Infinity War, it could be anti-climatic. So what if he wiped out half the galaxy in the comics? His destruction gets undo'd anyway. Without the infinity stones, Thanos ain't shit. Jean Grey is way worse than Thanos, if anything.
