A simultaneous release would be pointless, negatively impacting ABC's advertisers. Why sit through commercials when you can see the whole thing seamlessly?

They dont need a direct crossover event.
Im sure if Thanos attacks Earth or if the Avengers disappear, the Agents and Netflix Defenders will be affected. Just like Agents during Winter Soldier events.

Does that change the criticism? Not particularly, no. It's still been years in the MCU and no one has mentioned it.

You could say Shield was a little busy with Hydra at that particular time

Honestly, it's just a plot point that probably has no significance to the MCU. It would've been referred to in 2014 for it to have relevancy. Which was before Guardians 2 was even a thought. So James Gunn put himself into a corner for having the sequel take place in the same year as the first film.

Come to think of it. Would have been a cool way to tie AoS into Guardians 1 with the team investigating mysterious alien goop invading a small Missouri town. Only for the cause behind it revealed three years later in the Guardians sequel. Missed opportunity there...

Thanos is augmented. His solo book is pretty good.

Retconed flashback. They have done it on the show before.

I don't know if this has already been answered, but two years ago I heard that this movie would be entirely shot in Imax and 3d. Is that still true? It might not be because two years ago it was Part 1 and Part 2 and things have changed.

They are. The only thing that's changed is the titles. They're being shot with the Alexa IMAX camera in 2D though, being converted to 3D.

Not an official photo, only a fan creation. This was shared by Robert Downey Jr with the caption,
Quote:
Nobody does armor like Asgard.
Many suggest that Robert is hinting at an Iron Man Asgardian armor will be featured in Infinity War.

Marvel "refuses" R rated movies, yet produces mature adult-rated Netflix series.

Kevin Feige has nothing to do with the Netflix shows or any Marvel show in general. So they might as well take place in their own universes. Which is ironic because Marvel got the rights back from Fox, yet Marvel film division still can't use him. Because of this I stop caring about Marvel characters being all under one roof. We have to except the fact that a lot of companies are producing Marvel content for us. Like ABC, Disney Animation, Fox, Marvel Studios, Netflix, Sony, etc.

They still account for as part of the MCU. Feige is very well aware of that shows openly acknowledge the films but the movies do not. He had also said the they plan on incorporating the TV division into the movies eventually.

And I'm totally fine with that. Fox seems to be handling R rated Marvel movies just fine. As I've said before, the Netflix series satisfy the R rating for the MCU.

I wouldn't take his comments too seriously. Kevin Feige is basically saying that these characters will eventually crossover as long as Disney have the rights. That doesn't mean that current Netflix/TV versions will, though. Kevin Feige will never admit that he doesn't want other people's fingerprints all over his vision. And why should he? That's like shooting yourself in the foot. You can even tell when you read his interviews. Like when they asked him about Daredevil: Season One, Kevin Feige said all that he knows was that he heard Kingpin was great in it. Like really? The head of Marvel Studios, the one who made the MCU so successful in the first place, is not aware of what's going on with the shows? And they are suppose to take place in the same universe? Yeah, right. More like Marvel's television division trying to cash in on the success of the MCU.

I thought the film and tv entities have separate agendas?
Netflix and AOS acknowledges the MCU but aren't confined by it.
