Rambo III might be cut slightly, to get rid of a horsefall. Although, it's entirely possible they just used the same disc for the whole of Europe regardless of the BBFC guidelines. I guess we won't know till same one buys the U.K disc.

It'll be interesting whether the Lionsgate Blu-rays will be remastered, and if they're region free. Ya know, for the extras

If I remember rightly, the original U.K DVD release by Momentum Pictures (remember them?) contained the horsefall too, but it's been such a long time since I saw that DVD my memory might be playing tricks with me...
I actually watched the Guild Home Video Ex Rental release the other day... NOW THAT WAS CUT!!! ![]() |

Completely forgot about that, that's why the old German remastered Blu-ray set had UK-friendly discs for 1 & 2 but not for 3, Geoff says to himself. Given that the StudioCanal UHDs don't contain any original audio then I'm even happier with my decision to get the cheapy Lionsgate UHDs as they'll have the uncut Rambo III.

.... 2008.
jesus. I forgot it was so long ago. I thought it was like 6 years ago. I'd hope that both cuts of Rambo IV would be in the UHD. But.... I'll take John Rambo if they just gave one. ----- Oh, **** me. They messed w/ the colors on these. Jesus. Not again w/ this stuff. |

Shame we're not getting the 2008 movie, I mean it's not StudioCanal's to remaster but there's nothing stopping Lionsgate from doing it themselves. This is its 10th anniversary year? **** me.
I doubt I'd buy it though if it was the theatrical cut only, the director's cut is the one for me. |
