Is anyone willing to compare with the Soul Media for 1-3?

I'm not great at capturing screenshots. This is a couple of photos from 2

The disc sizes between Soul Media an Lionsgate are about the same 47 vs 49 GB.
Booth have the same menu.

Soul Media

Lionsgate

What's the best option for Rambo III? The UK disc is out for me because it's cut.

I’m so confused how is one lionsgate release darker than this one is this a different release or is the above one a screw up?

It’s just photos of my screen, so the colors and brightnes won’t be accurate. I just wanted to show the difference in detail between the two.

The problem with answering that question, is not knowing what exactly is on the Australian disc language wise.

The rear cover states English only, but this could be bollocks, much like the UK discs of all three movies only stating English on the covers.

What I don't understand is if the UK disc is still cut, why does it supposedly have French and German language options? Why go to the effort of editing those tracks to match the cut UK version? Are the French and German discs cut? Does the disc play a different version via seamless branching, depending on what language you select upon start up?

I guess all this could be summed up with 'Studio Canal LOL', but it's still weird.

Why I'm cautious to recommend the Australian disc, is that the previously remastered Australian BD disc was supposedly censored, as it shared it's content with the UK release, (only available in some POS hand grenade style packaging), but those were the only release(s) with subs for the Russian dialogue.

How are your pictures so drastically different in brightness?

I was talking about how your shots are brighter than Geoffd’s shots of the same part of the movie.

Yes. Different cameras. Different settings. Same disc. It was just to show differences in grain and detail between the Nordic release and the US.

Colour-wise there’s not much difference betwen the releases. But there is more defined grain and detail in the nordic and the u.k. discs.

If I could I would capture screens with my PC, but even though i have a UHD drive for it, my Nvidia card isn’t compatible. Getting UHDs to play on a PC is stupidly complicated.

Reminds me I need to sell the Lionsgate UHDs and track down the OOP blu-rays.

German UE for Parts 1 & 2, Aussie SE for Part 3.

For the US discs Rambo III is by far the best looking, least amount of artifacts and most visible grain. Do you have the US UHD by chance?

Whenever I do my latest UK run I am going to grab First Blood and FBII based on these screenshots.
