Received Part 2 from Importcds today and was appalled to see it had an anti-theft sticker on top. Did everyone get one of these? I haven't found a way to remove them without the adhesive also removing parts of the metal foil on the 4k logo. Looks like I'll need a replacement case.

That looks like a typical Buena Vista product. Hencho en Mexico. If you want it to match the first copy of Heat 4k that I received, you’ll need to add a lot more scratches in all directions. But it’s a good start. The cool part is, they’ve managed to get all the scratches into the data layers, UNDER the scratch-proof protective outer coating, before it is applied. We have the technology! Yeah this is coming out this ok I’ll believe when it officially announced at this point? because what’s the hold up now? I know we’re in mid march but still it was delayed from last year shouldn’t we have heard a little measly crumb of a release window even it’s just a quarter for this year?

It'll come out after the theatrical re-release of the first film,
don't know which countries are doing it, but in NL it's about 2 weeks from now.

StudioCanal UK started to ship replacements a week ago to customers who contacted them by email.

Amazon UK is selling the UK 40th Anniversary SteelBook it had a re-release on March 6th 2023
This re-release is meant to have corrected UHD disc and Pet Slip

The slipcover is a Pet Slip
Made of polyethylene terephthalate plastic AKA Pet
November 2022 the UK release Pet Slip had a printed error on the front
The UK March 6th 2023 release has corrected Slip

Pet Slip was also used with some SteelBooks releases from Plain Archive/KimchiDVD/Lionsgate
You might already have some in your collection and did not know

Note only the November 2022 UK release was affected in regards to missing extras on the UHD and Slip printing error

The German/France 40th Anniversary SteelBook release was not affected as in had correct UHD with the new extras and Slip did not have printing error

It’s still coming and when it’s ready, that’ll be the point it’s officially announced. The only reason I let any details out as early as we did was so that people could have a heads up and know this was in the pipe rather than buying versions they end up wanting to replace a year later.

When it’s ready and we know it’s good to announce… it’ll get announced. If you’re too impatient to wait… I understand. There’s plenty of version already out there for you to buy.

So what are they considering the error? The fact that it says RAMBO, not FIRST BLOOD? If so, fair enough, but since the Steel itself has the right title, I wasn’t too fussed. Not that I’ll turn down a replacement for that, too.
