HAHA!! WOW, those prices are rediculous for that event. It cost me $50 to preorder the trilogy in HD from WB, i couldn't imagine paying that much only to see one.

Actually for a special event like that, I thought the tickets were dirt cheap. Wish I lived closer.

I wasn't really blown away either. It was 'ok'. At only 187 megs for as long as it was, I wasn't expecting that much either.

They should just have put the trailer on the Blu ray itself with some of the other trailers that are always on. BD-Live is overrated it suck actually. Maybe when the releasedate is near they will put it on the Blu ray and not just that damn BD-live

My guess is the trailer wasn't ready when the discs were being authored.

Moreover, I think BD Live is the perfect feature to get the trailers to as many customers as possible. Not everyone bought the 300 Complete edition. So people who instead have other BD Live enabled WB discs (like the Dark Knight for example) can also access the trailer ... which is how I can access it.

So perhaps you think BD Live is crap, but personally I think it's the best way to give as large a group of fans as possible a chance to see the trailer.

Just used the TDK Blu to watch this trailer OMG wow! .... Once again the scene with Merry and Pippen talking about seeing the Shire again was in this trailer but it absent from both EE and Theatrical Cuts of ROTK ... Will the EE Blus Have even more content ... or are we looking at a Ultimate Edition in 2011 ... Why do I feel there is an inevitable Triple Dip down the line; god im such a sucker for this movie

I know the release date was confirmed on the site, but shouldn't I be able to find it somewhere else too? I can't for the life of me find it anywhere else. Even Amazon doesn't have the November 3rd release date yet. Am I wrong to be worried?
