Theatrical will honestly be more than enough for me. As long as the quality is superb (which I have no doubt it will be) and all the battle scenes are in

Just sold my three EE dvds for $40. Not bad at all since I bought it for $70 when it first came out.

...Waiting for the Blu-ray versions now.

HAHAHAHA. With this trilogy coming out and the now rumored Indiana Jones trilogy coming out this year as well that is 2 out of 3 of my favorite trilogies on blu-ray! Just waiting for Star Wars news now.

this trilogy is perhaps the greatest to have ever graced the screen. the theatrical and extended versions were released on dvd awhile back. i don't see why they wouldn't do the same for the blu-ray.

if they don't, they are going to have a lot of pissed off people.

u're funny!!! if u looked @ my profile, u'd notice i'm married. that means my old lady has eaten wedding cake, which means comments like yours don't apply to her b/c it takes way more work and energy than i'm willing to put in for that sort of thing.

but back on topic, regardless of the length of these movies, i have no problem popping them in and watching them. this may be one set of movies that i upgrade to blu and NOT sell my standard copies just so i can still watch them while working in the basement.

All three of the movies are the best ever made in their category and there will never be any other series to surpass it

Yeah, I'm getting married in two weeks, and my wife-to-be already knows better than to come between me and Lord of the Rings.

My wife is really strict about not buying movies that we already own on dvd, but I told her we have to make an exception for LOTR. We'll see how that works out

just "make them disappear" like 2 weeks before the movie is released on blu. play all dumb and say someone must've stole it and now it has to be replaced!!
