I set mine up yesterday and it did include a battery in the box. Check the plastic that was around the remote. The battery is sort of odd to put in. You feel like it should "click" into place but only the cover keeps in place or from popping out. The cover has one of those slots you would open with a coin similar to the old apple tv re,mote

Waiting on the guy in the martian thread to respond, but so far no.

But a couple people will be receiving fox connect titles tomorrow.

There's a chance that I will have all 3 by tomorrow night too.

I've been reading rumors about some FOX titles being pushed up early. From what I've seen only The Martian will be released at the end of this week. All the others are still set for March 1st.

I've gotten updated release date e-mails for The Martian, Exodus, Scorch Trials, and Kingsman saying they'll be available in stores on 2/14(and delivered on 2/15). And I literally just got 2 more e-mails updating Life of Pi and Maze Runner to 2/28(delivered on 2/29).

Well technically it's not a delay since the official release date is still 3/1. We'll just not get them quite as early as the others(unless you find them at a brick & mortar).

Good point... just seems odd to stagger the first wave of Fox releases. Oh well I'm just getting excited for both my player and movies to play with.

I got mine today. Looks and sounds fine(I used the BD of Kingsmen to test, since I have no UHD discs yet). And the battery came with it.

The battery is clearly included, and what are you gonna do with the $2.00 HDMI cable they threw in except for not use it?

EDIT: My first BDP was a Panny 10AK that ran $600 in fall 2007, so while I'd also wish that Panasonic had released a UHDBDP now, I will not be choosy.
